It was cold outside so it was the perfect time to visit, since they have multiple fireplaces and it's nice and cozy inside. It was early afternoon and not busy, so the only employee we saw was the bar, but she kept everyone's drinks full and was very friendly. She told us to have a seat wherever we wanted but to come to the bar to order our drinks. We both got cocktails, an Old Fashioned and a Kentucky Mule and both were quite good. They don't have much food, just some pre-packaged chips and such but some of the chips were from China with pretty odd flavors, so that was kind of fun to give a try. The photos I have seen online don't do this place justice. It's cute and comfy and super clean. Even the women's bathroom had cute decor! As we were leaving, a band was setting up to play later that evening. I was pleasantly surprised to see they often have live music and on Fridays and Saturdays, they have a band from 5-7 and another from 8-10.

Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)

Since that is the case I am just going to re-post my original review. On Sunday the 22nd of March 2015 I visited this establishment. In the past I have always had a great experience with the staff so when I ordered a round of shots I told the bartender that one was for her. Her name was Treana. I immediately paid with my credit card and tipped her $10 on a $15, which is more than I should have because she was obviously highly intoxicated. After this I ordered one more round of drinks for my friends that I met up with and again paid immediately with my card totaling $15.75 which also included another $10 tip. I went out to my car and brought back the bartender pens from my work for advertisement purposes. I was immediately thanked and left shortly thereafter. A little later that night two of the friends I met at the bar called complaining that Treana not only claimed that I didn't pay my tab, she was not going to let them leave until it was paid. She also claimed that I gave her a Lowes Credit Card with a different name on it that was not working. She forced them to pay the imaginary tab, and gave them someone else's credit card to give back to me. I still have my receipts and bank statements proving that I did indeed pay my tab. My issue is that when I called to work out the situation on Monday March 23 2015 in a professional manner. The "owner/Manager" blew me off promising to call me back and gave my personal number to the bartender who then proceeded to leave a very unprofessional voice mail late at night. I again called today on the 24th of March only to be met with the same lack of professionalism. This isn't that surprising considering how intoxicated Treana was on Sunday night (she could barely talk). Highly suggest everyone avoid this place. The staff will get so drunk they forget you paid your tab and will force your friends to pay. Not only that they are completely unwilling to make amends for their mistakes even with documented evidence that they are in the wrong. The owner might want to consider a different line of work, or at least call John Tafford to see if they could get on an episode of bar rescue.

The greens, yams and Mac are really good sides. The Mac tastes like it had hints of the yam juices in it. Also on your birthday you can go get a free fish or chicken meal that comes with 2 sides. You have to actually go in your birthday and show your id. The service is good but it take a while to get your food, but once you do everything is all nice and hot. Also on Wednesday it is $1 wings and there is a deal for fish on Friday as well.

The staff there is extremely friendly and they make great recommendations on food and specialty drinks to try. Wednesday is $1 wing day. The wings were fried to perfection.
