However, communication became a major concern. Email responses were very slow, and important details were not provided until the last minute. The most concerning issue occurred one week before the wedding, when we finally received an invoice that included unexpected charges. While we were initially quoted $75 per hour, the invoice included over $200 in additional "consultation" fees. There was no formal consultation--only a few email exchanges (approximately 3-4 emails) requesting basic information about services and timelines, many of which went unanswered. Due to the lack of timely communication and the surprise fees so close to our wedding date, we ultimately felt uncomfortable moving forward and canceled our plans. Future clients may want to clarify all fees in writing upfront and ensure communication expectations are clearly established.

I was expecting a big traumatic scene, but it was over before I even blinked. I'm also used to vets pushing X-rays and other unnecessary things on me but that didn't happen here. Whatever the costs, I would pay it to make sure my dog is healthy, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bill. I thought for sure it would run around $200 for an emergency visit - it ended up being less than $100 including medication. I would highly recommend this vet for emergency or general care.
