My washer gave up on me so I had to come here. This place is cool but if you have any questions or if their machines aren't working you have to pay for another machine. The dryer only dries for 12 minutes, which means you have to keep paying till your clothes is dry which is only $1 so I guess it's cool. Overall, it's ok but only if you get good machines. I use to go here all the time but now that they are under new management the remodel looks GREAT but the prices are RIDICULOUS. 8.75$ for a regular machine & 10.75$ for a bigger load. They don't use the card anymore so you have to have quarters, which isn't ideal if you're going to up the prices that high. The night shift woman heavyset that brings her young son to work breathes down your neck if you don't finish on time. She pressured and rushed me out the door telling me to just take my clothes and leave. She has a nasty attitude and is not easy to deal with if you need her help. I can deal and ignore nasty attitude people but she took it a step further insinuating she was going to cause me physical harm. She told me she was going to take note of my car so "she'll know what to do next time" she sees me again. I'm researching with the city if a formal complaint can be filed against her. Me and my family have been happily coming since 2012 in fact we still have our green and white cards. We have been coming to this laundromat for quite sometime now. It seems that it has been falling apart as of lately. Before there was always an attendant to help you & keep the place clean as well as all the machines. Now no attendant is ever here every time I seem to come they are either running late or just don't answer the phone. Today upon arrival there was a huge puddle right as you enter no wet floor sign & no one to help clean it up. I had to put some paper towels over it so it could at least help somewhat, but it could be quite dangerous not only for the customers but for business as well. I think it's time to look for another laundromat. I used to like coming here when it first opened because there was always an employee cleaning the machines and keeping the place tidy. Now it's all rundown, the machines look like they hardly get cleaned, there's powder soap everywhere on top of the machines. Also it gives the the option to wash your clothes cold but the water still comes out hot. With the exception of one employee who has been here a while, I hardly see the other employees do anything. The trash and are full, there's trash on the floors. This place looks nothing like it used to when it first opened, a lot of the machines are out of order and some are being held together with duct tape. It seems to me like the owners just care about profit and not keeping the place running properly. Ohh and one last thing, this has been going on for years but they advertise that "every wash gives you bonus points!" Lies!!! Not all machines gives you a point after you wash because I check my card all the time and my points balance remains the same. Seems to me that it's false advertisement if the points aren't being given after every wash. I really need to give my business else where. read more

I've been coming here for about 4 maybe 5 years. Everything is always clean and attendants super friendly and helpful. I had to leave a review today after my experience there. When I got there almost all the machines were in use by one group of people that looks like they owned a party rental because they had a big cargo van filled with bags and bag and bags of dirty linen. Luckily I was able to find 2 open machines to use and luckily all my clothes fit. However because of the group that took all the washers there where no dyers. They literally took up a whole wall of the dryers and weren't emptying them as they were done. I found a dryer but it was broken and not marked as such. I asked the attendant for help but she couldn't get the dryer to work either. I asked her if she could ask the group using up all the dryers if they can empty them when they were done instead of what they were doing which was folding standing in front of one dryer at a time. I realize they were trying to hold on to the dryers as they still had every washer still running. The attendant could have easily told me no but she did not. She went and asked other people there if they were waiting for dryers as well and 2 other groups were also waiting. She very nicely asked them to please empty the finished dryers but to also utilize the larger dryers so that those who were waiting could also dry their clothes. She didn't have to do that but I truly appreciate that she did and I was able to get out of there at a reasonable amount of time. Because that large group was still going when I left. I appreciated her so much I had to ask her for her name so that I could thank her appropriately. So thank you again Elizabeth, you got me home in time to make dinner! read more

Amazing laundry, it's always clean and the machines work great. It tends to get busy so that's why I come here early in the mornings. I usually use the smaller machines but yesterday I had to use one of the biggest ones because I needed to wash some quilts, since it was my first time using it, I messed up and I was charged 3 times for the 1 time wash. There was nobody at the office so I called the number posted on the door, a gentlemen answered and he took care of the issue as quickly as possible, I didn't only get what the machine charged me but also an extra $10 credit on my card for the inconvenience. The dryer at my mom's place broke down the night before my flight. My last resort was to stop by a laundromat in the morning a few hours before I had to be at the airport. Luckily this location was right around the block. I figured I'd stop by early in the morning to use the dryer. Since this was my first time, I wasn't sure how the system worked around here. Luckily Mayela was kind enough to approach me and ask if I had been here before. My response was "no" and she noticed the confused look on my face. She took the time to walk me through and explain the process from obtaining credit to how to properly set up the machines for my needs. The prices are more than reasonable. I travel a lot and rely on what's available at hotels and the cost of using their machines is ridiculous. The cost was at least 1/5 the fraction of what I'm used to paying. Even though I have a washer and a soon to be functional dryer at my disposal, it's nice to know that I can stop by as a last resort just in case anything unexpected comes up. read more

I never thought it was possible to any laundromat to be a 5 star facility but his place has proved me wrong. I've been coming here for the last year and I come primarily for the upgraded amenities. They have comfortable small picnic-style tables throughout, all the machines are new/better for the environment, you're less likely to find sketchy people, and it's all cashless transactions (you use a pay card which you refill via cash or debit). Let's face it- transporting your clothes and intimates from home to a central location where everyone else is sanitizing their garments and chonis is less than appealing. However, if extenuating circumstances have forced you to wash your clothes in a communal environment, then i would suggest doing it correctly. Sparklean in Huntington Park provides a comfortable facility and more than decent machinery to make you laundry chore more bearable. I would have given a four-star rating, because although the machines are relatively modern, I always have to dry my clothes twice on high (sometimes even after 2 dries, my clothes stay a little humid). What keeps me coming back is the outstanding customer service every Sunday! I never have to unload my own laundry. The attendant always helps me and my boyfriend (with a smile) and makes friendly conversation. Not to mention, there's a monthly raffle and free coffee in the morning on weekends.
