I think I used the machines after a guy finished washing his commercial mop heads. I thought it was just in my head, but after drying my bedding I couldn't tolerate the smell. I would've made a complaint then and there but I didn't see a worker and I needed to leave. I went to another laundromat the next day to wash my bedding again. Also, the alley/driveway where you exit from needs to be repaved.

Several of the larger machines now smell bad, which is already an issue. On top of that, interactions with staff have consistently been uncomfortable. Anytime we ask to break a $20 or $100 bill (which is pretty standard at laundromats), the response is dismissive or flat-out refused, without explanation or effort to help. The tone from staff often comes across as condescending rather than professional. There also seems to be a communication barrier, which wouldn't be a problem on its own--but instead of trying to clarify or help, it creates tension and frustration for customers. Most recently, we were told we couldn't start a wash late in the evening, only to watch another customer be allowed to do so minutes later. No explanation, no apology. Between the odors, inconsistent rules, and uncomfortable staff interactions, the overall vibe just isn't welcoming. Customer service matters, and unfortunately this place falls short. Any efforts being made to clean the machines have not resolved the problem and require improvement. Intent doesn't negate impact--discomfort was still caused.

I also like that they use cards so you don't have to worry about change or cash. There are several sizes of washer and two sizes for dryers. There are chairs and benches and TVs while you wait. They also play music which changes all the time so it's not always the same kind of music. The only thing I don't like is that their parking lot can often get full even when there are not many people inside and there's not a suitable place to park for over flow. A few times I've actually just left and come back at another time when I see the lot full. These are the rates for self wash as of 12/11/25: 2 load - $4.59 4 load - $6.79 6 load - $8.75 8 load - $11.19 Dryers for 10 min: Small - .75 Big - .90 They also have drop off and fluff and fold services, which are actually pretty reasonable when you do the math.

I also must say they have really provided beautiful customer service to me. I was in an accident a few months ago and I could not work for a while, and I needed my clothes washed. I tried to use a other service just to save some extra money but that was a mistake. When the other placed failed in customer service and professionalism, Bubblymat picked up the slack. I called yesterday explaining my situation and they were kind to me and picked up my laundry for me. That's customer service that is rare and real. They didn't tell me how much of an inconvenience it was for them to get my clothes. They made me feel like I mattered as their customer and went out of their way when I needed their assistance.
