Last year my husband drove his truck through the washer. They made some changes since the last time we washed the truck there. The washer began having problems so we backed up but the attendant told us he would guide us through because there were too many vehicles behind us. His truck got stuck and we later discovered that the tire was ripped open and his rim had been badly scraped. We had to tow the truck and take an uber home. We filed a claim form and later contacted the main office after we heard nothing back. They told us to go to a rim shop to get it repaired but the shop told them they wouldn't be able to fix it. Sparkle Express said they would replace the wheel and tire. We have went up to the location countless times and all we are told is that someone will contact us. They then told us they would send a check to replace these items. We have not received anything yet and nothing has been reconciled. We have finally cancelled all of our car subscriptions because it's obvious that they plan on not honoring their word. Update: He was called shortly after our review and offered a check for his rim (that is discontinued) and tire for $505 dollars. read more

I went to the car was and paid over 14 dollars for a car was on my Ford Ranger, a good gas mileage old dented up truck. When I went thru the car was I noticed the rollers on the right side were not engaging my truck. So after running thru the wash I has a employe why the rollers didnt engage my truck on the right side. She stated the rollers are working look at that vehicle going thru now. So I stated ok and was looking at my right side which was not washed and another employee came up to me and stated the rollers were turned off when I went thru, he stated they are broken. That really confused me and the another employee stated they turn off the rollers when I went thru because of damage. Which even confused me more. I always went thru the car was with my truck for years. So they stated I could go thru again but they would not be reliable of the damage. And again I was confused, because I always thought and remembered seeing a sign before that if any damage occurred while going thru the car was, that they were not reliable, thats why I unscrew my antenna and put my side view mirrors in. the 3rd employee pulled out his phone and started filming me and asked my to leave the premises. I honored the request but didn't agree with them at all. I paid over 14 dollars for the car wash and could not even vacuum my truck out. I just don't understand how a business can take you money and not give you service, if they are not going to service you they should let you know ahead of time. read more

Just canceled my monthly plan after about 7 years. They have changed their policy that they will not scrub the front of the car other than with a quick swipe with the long brush. I asked if they could still use the yellow sponge/scrubber that they used to and was told no. They did say I could get a rewash if it isn't clean. There is more than 1 company that washes cars in Augusta and I assume they will get more business as more customers notice their vehicles not getting clean at Sparkle Express. read more

Was unaware that I was put in a membership, went there for one wash after giving my coupon and being told that it was not valid. I had to pay a small fee for a wash and then I was charged twice for a membership that I have not been able to cancel so I would like a full refund for both $29 charges and I would like my membership canceled. Can't beat $7 and free vacuums, spray and towels. They do have a car wash club for unlimited washes each month for $19.95, however I only come about once a month so I'm not paying $20 When I can pay $7. Maybe for some people it would make sense. read more

Blower was lower than tube at entry and damaged the roof and sunroof of my brand new truck. Management have attempted to cover up damage and say it wasn't possible. I have video proof of the damage occurring. I started video when I noticed it dragging along roof! Went back to tube at entrance (a clearance precaution that is supposed to be the lowest point in car wash but it's not) and took a video showing it wasn't even close to touching roof and I was waved into car wash. Bottom line is this is a shady operation they made a mistake and are not claiming any responsibility. Management called me from a blocked number to tell me they were not going to fix my vehicle! I have heard similar stories and contacting news 12. Also will be taking them to court to fix my roof and moon roof. Will post outcome. read more

Have used the Fury's Ferry Sparkle Car Wash often and today is the first time I have ever had an issue. Ran my truck through today, 24 Aug 2023 and had dirt and grime on my hood, the roof, and quarter panels. I let one of the employees know. He was very respectful and offered a rewash. Brought the truck home and had to rewashed it by hand myself. read more

While the car wash is generally good (sometimes I have to go through twice), nothing on their website works. You CAN NOT cancel your membership: you get the error "Discontinue ARM is broken". So, if you want to wash, do so. But don't do the recurring unless you are POSITIVE that you want to keep it on-going forever. read more

I am writing this as I am disappointed in what happened to my wife today at your location off Fury's Ferry. She got a coupon mailer for a free sparkle owner car wash. She went to have her car washed this AM and when the attendant scanned the coupon was told there were no more credits on it. Now explain to me how a coupon card that had to be removed from the mailer could have already been used? I mean it literally is one of those plastic perfarated cards she had to take off for the coupon. The more infuriating part it was her birthday and she was looking forward to it, when she was told this she only had two choices, to move forward and pay for a car wash or have about six cars behind her be backed up. She choose to pay for an $11 wash. Personally I would have made your attendant move the other customers behind me and been more than happy to tell them why. This is what is called a bait and switch tactic, been around for decades. I am reaching out to several online groups in the area to find out if this has happened to others? sparkle wash at gate way . the person who starts the wash does not even wash the front grill with a brush any more . they don't brush the back glass any more . all they do since my last 4 or 5 trips is spray bug cleaner on the grill and maybe wash the wind shield. i have a monthly pass so i want some kind of service , not just stand there , guide you in spray some bug stuff on my wind shield and wait for the next car to pull up . the floor mat cleaner don't work any more . sure tell what happens when you let kids run you're business ! thinking about dropping my monthly membership ! read more

I went to Sparkle Carwash at the intersection of Peach Orchard and Tobacco Road in Augusta GA. I changed my mind after seeing the inflated prices when trying to select the wash. The guy "Con Man" in a grey shirt came up and told me that I cannot change my mind because I swiped my card already. He then stated that I would have to wash my car or the person behind me would a free wash because I had paid already. I told him to give me a refund because my bank will not reverse the charge without documentation to support the charges. He told me that he couldn't do that and I need to get out of the way. I refused to move. He then goes in the office comes back out and starts to delete the charge that he stated he could not do earlier. At that point I was lied to twice and requested a receipt again. He became mad and then went to a guy in a red shirt who comes over to me. I explained that I needed a receipt for documentation because at that point I no longer have trust in the business. Nothing express about this car wash. The attendants harass you the moment you pull up to pay for your wash. They want you to become a member and are quite insistent and you don't want to be mean and tell them I want a $10 wash and be on my way. So today I sat behind a person getting the membership pitch for so long that the vehicle that went before them had already come out the wash! I left and will find a new car wash that doesn't waste my time. The wash is not great to begin with as every time I have gone before I have pollen or some other grime left on the hood of my truck as I drive out. read more

Absolutely love coming here to get my car washed. Fast and friendly service. The membership I have is really great to have since I love cleaning my car. Free vacuums and have supplies to clean the inside of the car (even though I use my own) for free as well! They also have a car mat washer which is very helpful. Want your car dented in, then get lied to, its a great place for that! Went there to get a car wash, simple enough transaction, mmm not quite. Gary Richardson's offspring was running the show at this particular location and things were run kind of casual. Workers aloof and not focused, Junior hanging out in the office. Our car goes thru the wash and comes out with a dent and scratches on the side. What the heck? The kid drying the car tells us the machine is out of alignment and sometimes it happens. Goes and gets Junior, and Junior stares at the dent and tells us that it'll buff out. Really dude? We take pictures and report to the insurance company. They call Junior, who by now got his behind ripped by Senior for admitting fault as Junior changes his story. Tells the insurance company the dent was there. Junior also advises my wife to talk with his daddy, who has the checkbook and the authority to make a decision. Senior Richardson turns out to be a huge orifice, tries to intimidate my wife and tells us to go away as it was our fault. Because we had the pictures and the employees knew about the machine, Richardson finally admits fault but only if we take the car to HIS recommended body shop. Kendrick body shop off Washington. Figure it was a side deal to save him money as he refuses to deal with our insurance company. Well we have no choice so we go there, and part II of the nightmare begins. Kendrick completely botched the paint job, clear coat has hair in it, paint doesn't match rest of the car, etc. We later find out that Kendrick was actually getting sued for stealing millions from another entity and pumping out cars at cut rate estimates. Anyways, USAA gets involved and kicks Kendrick off their network, sends us across the street to Cushmans. And God Bless them as they fits us in their schedule, fixed the dent and the paint the correct way in a short period of time. Over two months of misery, countless hours wasted for a simple car wash. No thanks! Its like Buford T Justice and Junior own and ran Sparkle Car wash, seriously vile and stupid people. One is incompetent manager, the other a corrupt and dishonest owner. read more

I canceled a subscription that I had on one of my vehicle and they prorated my refund when I showed proof that the monies came out the day that I canceled. I should have gotten all my monies back. The manager also acknowledged that the membership hasn't been used in almost three weeks. I didn't even ask for that money back I just want what was taking the day that I canceled the membership. read more

1st and last time going to this place. The brushes they use obviously aren't being well maintained . They do have a very large sign on the side of the car wash that informs how they're not liable for any damages. Should have seriously taken that as a clue as to what's to come. This place does an ok job on my Jetta but does a better job on my F150. The dryers never get the water off my side mirrors which is annoying and the last time I had a dirty strip on my hood in the middle that it missed but it was dirtier than normal. The F150 comes out sparkling every time and is consistently dryer than the car- I'm guessing due to ride height. The vacuums are powerful and there are enough bays I've never had to wait to use on. There is usually an offer of buy a managers special wash and you get one fifty percent off so that's a nice deal. Overall it's a good job at a good price and convenient to my house but it's not any better than any similar one I've been through elsewhere. read more

I baby my car to the point that I do not allow eating or drinking in it. I just got it in February for my birthday, it's my dream car. After every wash, I dry it...because of this, I know my car. After visiting the Sparkle Express on Belair Road, my car now has a scratch on the front side bumper and swirl marks on the front fender...I tell the manager about it and they look into it. I'm called the next day and told the scratch was already there...problem is...when they are describing the scratch it doesn't sound like the scratch that I told them about and they didn't even know about the swirl marks. I know my car...it did not have these places on it before entering the carwash. I have had a fast pass with them for at least 2 years on 4 cars...NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

I purchased a mid-level wash for my jeep yesterday. My jeep is a Renegade, so they're not very large at all. Somehow the soap did not get completely washed off the back, so after going through, I had to take a water bottle and try to get the remaining suds off of my car. Then I was trying to use the free vacuum and the thing was so damaged that it wouldn't pull back to trunk of my vehicle. The second side of the vacuum came apart the moment I pulled it down. Honestly, it was probably like watching a comedy bit and I was so annoyed. Not worth my time, nor my money. What an awful experience. read more

I have never had a problem at this location. I have two vehicles, one is a pickup truck. They go in dirty and come out clean. What more could you ask for. The cost of the wash depends on what all you want done to your vehicle. I usually get just a simple wash with tire shine as a extra. That wash cost me about $8.00 to $10.00 dollars, with free use of a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum area is large enough to open all four doors of your vehicle without worrying about other vehicles. The vacuum cleaners really suck lol by that I mean it gets deep ground in dirt from your carpet. If you need to clean your carpeted floor matts they have a floor mat machine that will beat the dirt out of your matts. I really love that machine it makes my matts look almost new again. The employees are very helpful if you should need assistance and pre-soap your vehicle before sending you and your vehicle through the wash. This location can be a little difficult to get in and out of at certain times of the day. The traffic light at the intersection of Columbia road and North Belair road is your best friend during peek traffic times. Making use of the traffic light when it stops traffic on North Belair road makes entering and exiting a lot easier. Other than peek traffic times early morning and early evening getting in and out is no problem. Give them a try I don't think you'll be disappointed, and if you are let them know. I believe they would do whatever they can to make sure you leave happy. read more

The BEST customer service by Lee. My husband's open bed truck held soap and water and caused the dryers to splash it all over his truck. Lee was extremely courteous and sent us back through the wash...on HIS dime. Then he waited for us at the drying station and wiped the truck down himself. Would you believe there was not a single blue spot or water spot on the truck when we left the parking lot? We will surely be regulars at Sparkle where customer service still matters. read more
