Overall an okay local burger joint…read more The interior is a standard bar atmosphere for their bar food. It's your standard burger restaurant but with deep dish pizza? Odd. Speaking of odd choices, for an American style restaurant, I was confused by the Reggaeton playing the entire time I ate there. Confused vibes. It's located near most of the popular bars in town that get really busy on the weekend, so maybe they're trying to liven up the place with music that doesn't really make sense for the space. My food was fresh and tasted fine. The Nashville hot sauce was worlds better than the garlic Parmesan. The waffle fries tasted good but were a bit overcooked (hard). It seemed clean inside, but there were fruit flies bothering us the entire time we were there. Not sure I would go back, but the food is alright.

Sandwiches are made fresh while you wait. Food is really good and the staff is always amazing. They are really friendly and they work their butts off! Ask for the grape ape while you're there. Anyways, I ordered the jerk chicken breast and Mac and cheese. The jerk was delicious, hint of wood flavor, excellent chile and allspice flavor. It's not ridiculously hot, so most should enjoy it. I tend to like jerk crazy hot, but this had a pleasant balance between the glow of the chiles, the allspice, and citrus kick. The mac and cheese was out of the world good. I'm not one for sides, but I would have ordered a bucket of it if I could. I can't even explain what was going on with it, but there was some faint smokiness or something that caught me off guard and spoke to me. Without exaggeration, the best I've ever had. Robert the pitmaster is lovely gentleman with a great heart and passion for his food. If I lived here, I would eat here every week. You can taste when you eat something that has been made with love. For being a host, he went above and beyond explaining what is on the different menus he handed us. It is rare that nowadays you get more than a hello how are you- from hosts. We had an AMAZING server-her name was Carrissa (on the check) but she has a nickname she goes by instead I think it was Dea or something... She took the time to answer any and all questions we had, told us all about the menu and was EXTREMELY personable. It is not often these days you find a server who enjoys their job. (I work in the service industry as well-so I ALWAYS appreciate finding GOOD servers) We really connected with her and had amazing service! The food wasnt terrible-but not something I would go back for. The brisket was a tad dry and flavorless. The turkey was good. Mac and cheese was horrible. My husband said the peach cobbler was great. All over feel of the place was good, clean and people that worked there all seemed to be friendly.

The menu is jam-packed with delicious options, and our group had a hard time narrowing down our selections! We started by sharing the traditional mild Buffalo wings, burnt ends, and armadillo eggs. The wings were huge, meaty, and packed with an amazing smoked flavor. The burnt ends were incredibly tender, falling apart and practically melting like butter in your mouth. Amazingly, I still had room for the turkey Reuben with waffle fries. It was an interesting twist and a slightly healthier alternative to a traditional Reuben. They also offered a great selection of local beers on tap. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful as we worked our way through the extensive menu. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sheboygan!
