Expect the unexpected. And then expect less." After two full…read moredays of texting and coordinating for an upgrade, we arrived to find the hotel in full meltdown mode. The electronic check-in didn't work, the computer system was down, and no one had the faintest clue what rooms were clean, taken, or even assigned. We spent 1 hour and 45 minutes waiting while the general manager played hotel hide-and-seek--riding the elevator, checking rooms like a lost guest himself. Truth in lending the management did throw us a small discount but not one worth an almost two hour wait in a hotel lobby at 84 degrees. In the end, we took a downgrade just to finally get a room. Because nothing says "hospitality" like paying more and getting less--later.

The customer service was friendly and spot on when our remote control didn't work! Devon was right there to fix it! The room was large and the bed comfortable. We even asked for extra pillows and a blanket. We got the TV working, someone unplugged it. Devon fixed remote. A/c was weird, seemed to time out in the middle of the night. Covered the microwave clock with notepad. wishes they'd offer a sound machine for a clock Plugs everywhere. Wish there was a nightlight in the bathroom. Towels good, shower hot with S/C/S. We even jumped in the COLD indoor pool. Wishes it was warmer. All and all, good night sleep. B'fast in am was included and worked out. Their customer service was friendly! Not bad, like I said, did what we needed for the night.

This one seemed consistently decent, so I took the chance and I am glad I did. I paid about $60 per night which is a great value for what you get. Location is a big plus. The hotel sits in a populated area with easy access to gas stations, supermarkets, and a variety of restaurants. You could drive or even walk to several nearby spots without any issue. There is also plenty of parking. I was also able to check in a little early around 11:45am with no extra charge, which was a huge win. The front desk receptionist, Aish, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. First impressions matter and she absolutely set the tone for a good stay. Breakfast is included and runs from 6am to 9am, so just make sure you are up early enough to catch it. When I walked into the room, it was very clean. There is a proper desk for working and charging ports conveniently placed on the walls and desk areas. The 32 inch TV had over 100 channels, the wifi connected easily, and there was even a refrigerator and microwave, which many hotels no longer offer at this price point. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and well stocked with toiletries. It also has safety handles around the toilet and shower, which is a thoughtful touch for anyone who may need extra support. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book here again. The only minor downside was that the cleaning solution smell was pretty strong at first, but it faded after a few hours. My only real suggestion for the hotel would be brighter lighting in the bathroom, as it does feel a bit dim. For the price, location, cleanliness, and service, this Sleep Inn delivers and then some. Definitely a solid choice in this area.

The good: location location location. If you're going to Oak Mountain, the Best Western Plus is on the road leading into the park. It's also next to a Waffle House and a gas station which is convenient. The staff were friendly. My room was big, comfortable and clean. The price was also quite reasonable, especially since I was able to find a discount code. The wifi was faster than a lot of hotels', and there's a little computer/printer setup downstairs if you need it. The bad: The only negative was breakfast. I was expecting a Hampton Inn type breakfast (which isn't all that impressive), but breakfast was pretty much just oatmeal, cereal, powdered eggs, and waffles or pancakes (I think it was one of those machines that makes them at the press of a button, but I didn't try it.). No bacon. No sausage. I also couldn't find any salt/pepper, so my "eggs" tasted even worse than expected. Good thing there's a Waffle House next door. The takeaway: If I return to Oak Mountain, I will most likely stay here. Pelham has limited options; and, of those options, I think this is the best choice.

But did nothing about it at all, why have a pool when they're not going to fix it at all, there is probably more families that would love to enjoy the pool. Other than the whole issue about the pool the rooms was alright and bed were comfortable. Microwave was clean and fridge was clean, and also in room 205 a man said he was leaving because he had a gofer rat in his room on april 29th 2026. I wouldn't recommend to come to the quality inn if your looking to swim, but if you are wanting to just relax and have a nice sleep would recommend a stay. Doors dont all lock as well

And we think this one is going to charm you! Its southern flare meets modern opulence but has an outdoorsy twist. Epic waterfall views from the balcony, gorgeous decor, spacious bedrooms, lavish kitchen and baths, and it is all within steps of historic downtown Helena! The property is two-story new build has all the amenities from large outdoor yard filled with game and a putting green. A spa hot tub for unwinding. Tables and swings for lounging with views of the creek. A large Firepit and outdoor entertaining space. All with views of the creek! As for our unit, I entered the front door, and my jaw dropped. I followed down a long hall to find a stunning, opulent kitchen with a peninsula with seating for four, large farmhouse sink, and gorgeous grey cabinetry. It opens into the living space with a large couch and two lavish chairs. That opens to the second-floor patio that overlooks the large yard below and a view of Buck Creek and its waterfall. We sat out with champagne for hours chatting and taking in the view. Up the stairs back inside is the cutest children's loft with first mural, bunkbeds, and play area. The two bedrooms are off the main hallway. A charming second bedroom off the primary is spacious and clean. It has a bathroom adjacent with stunning black floor tiling. As for the primary, it is in a league of its own. Large king bed flanked by pendant lighting and a can't miss accent wall with a ton of textures, wood, and color. To the left is the main bathroom with two sink vanity and a walk-in shower. The town is literal steps from our unit; downtown Helena is quintessential southern charm. Quaint downtown dotted with local restaurants and a brewery, shopping, and more! We really liked the Brewery in the heart of old town, downtown Helena, Oversoul Brewing. Good beer and friendly staff with live music for the win.

I was taking an unexpected trip due to a family emergency and had been driving almost 15 hours when I decided I had to stop around midnight. Check-in was fine and I got a room on the ground floor near the office. I got into the room and immediately went to take a shower. I was in the shower and tried to adjust the shower head when it fell apart! The front of the shower head (where you can adjust from spray to massage) just fell off in my hands, leaving me with a garden-hose-type spray for my shower. Whatever. I was already naked and wet, so I finished my shower. When I got out of the shower, I performed what I call the "shower towel test" on the bathroom floor. Since I was wet and dripping on the floor, I scooted across it on the towel to see how clean the floor was. Big mistake. The faux-slate floor had obviously not been mopped in quite a while and left nasty dirt marks on the underside of the towel. I used my damp shower towel to perform the same "test" on the faux-slate floor in the main room. Again, it was obvious that the floor had not been cleaned in a while. See pictures. Whatever... I was exhausted and went right to sleep. The bed and pillows were comfortable and I enjoyed my sleep. When I woke up in the morning and went to use the bathroom, I discovered that the toilet was not flushing properly. I didn't use the toilet the night before, so that morning was the first I used it. Although there was only water in the bowl, it did not flush completely. Due to Covid-19, there was no breakfast buffet. This was puzzling, since they had the juice and coffee machines operating, so anyone going in for those would be exposed to the same risks as if they had the food available. So... a dirty floor (bring slippers!), a broken shower head, and a faulty toilet leave me particularly unimpressed with this particular Quality Inn.
