I called the after hours number and was told that the place was sold on the 11th and there was no notes on the account about giving my mother in law until the 15th to get her stuff out. The new manager wanted to charge me $65 until the we negotiated for $30 because I only had two loads to get. Just not very happy!

I was very reluctant to Rent-A space due to the previous reviews tied to the business. However, I also acknowledge that these reviews are all years old so I took a chance. I walked in the door and I came out with the storage space I was treated fair and just I was treated with respect I was given clear instructions and great customer service. Chip has definitely calmed down compared to the post and reviews. I read earlier. Chip was a stellar gentleman in my opinion, the rest of the family followed suit. I checked out of my unit and they refuse to prorate the rent. In addition, the unit is open and ready to rent, leaving them with a potential for double income. I'm not asking for them to give me anything for free... just don't charge me for a service you're not providing. You can also expect rapid increases in your rent within months of moving in. You can't even talk to an actual person through customer service.... several steps in you are allowed to TEXT with them. There's too many options available to settle for this.

We are now paying $180 for the same unit!!! Talk about budget busters. Customer service is horrible now. Was a $14 late fee now it's a $33 fee. The previous owners/management would work with you. They were pleasant & willing to work you. These people are just RUDE, so don't expect "customer service" or even a clean place. Went back last year to check on things and it was dirty and run down. We've been with this storage facility for over 13 yrs because we moved out of state. It feels like a racket and they're holding you hostage with the continuous rate hikes.
