I've found they regularly stock celeriac (something very hard to come by elsewhere) and I've seen things I haven't even known what they were. then tried and adored! I just love this store as it's the sort where wee old grannies come in and chat away to the staff who'll fetch their shopping for them while catching up on the latest gossip. Great little corner shop, one of a dying breed which I think is so sad. Outside the shop stands an old grocers cart full of the days best produce. It sells the likes of fruit, veg, milk, juice, crisps, pet food, herbs, flowers, fire sticks etc. The staff are friendly and helpful, they know all the regulars by name and it's obvious they enjoy their days work.

If you could have paid less at Asda - even because of the deal - we'll give you a coupon for the difference off your next shop." I always use my brand match vouchers at my next Sainsbury's grocery shop. Plus their wine selection is superior to all other supermarket selections. Reasonably big range of fresh meat and already cooked. The beef pastrami is very good! The constant rotation of different county produce each month is a great addition. Things like lovely Greek yogurt, olives, spreads and very good pittas from Greece, baklava, hummus and beans from Turkey or flavoured oils, vinegars and cured meats from Spain. The have 10 pack of Belgium caramel waffles at £1.50 that taste exactly like Starbucks 2 pack that cost about 62 quid There is a forever changing middle section with homeware, kitchenware, gardening, tools, school stuff and fitness etc. The alcohol section has some super cheap beer and cider deals. Most of the spirits are cheaper brands(the ones that give killer hangovers) Some things to avoid: The herbs/spices, they are pretty wick apart from the white pepper. Baresa olives! Sometimes theses Tesco Express stores lack substantial fruit and veg sections but this cannot be said for this particular branch. They also have a surprisingly large alcohol section with a really good selection of spirits and wines. There's no dedicated parking for this Tesco but if you're lucky you can get parked across the street in the parking bays. Theirs is an ATM outside to add to the convenience. I really like this wee Tesco Express - it has everything the larger stores have! My only slight problem with this store is the fact that they have 2 self-service check out but they never seem to be working/accepting cash which means that there is always a big queue for the 2 other checkouts.
