Trolans is a bit of an institution as it sells so many different bits and pieces, all of them good quality and many of them you didn't even know you needed. It sells groceries, magazines, household stuff, garden benches and Man Utd merchandise. How very eclectic. My favourite parts are the deli counter, the chilled section which has lots of goodies like salads, lasagne and Magee's butchers meat. Oh, and the off licence. How great is it to be able to get your food and wine under one roof without having to go to Tesco? You'll generally find a half decent wine like Lindemans' on offer which is good news for me. The staff are all super helpful and go out of their way to chat and be friendly. That can make the queues a bit longer than they need to be, but you'd have to be really uptight to complain about that. Oh, yes, it's also a petrol station and sells hot food too. What more could you want?

I know my rights and knew she couldnt do this so rang the store manage from home and threatened trading standards. He asked me to call in and because of the way his employee had spoke to me he refunded me my money, gave me £10 in store vouchers and £10 for fuel to reimburse me. Excellent customer sevice imo.

But if you are happy enough with their own brand then it is the ideal place to work. George at Asda is great with great bargains in clothes for everyone. The household items are brilliant too and great value. All in all great value shopping which is needed in this present climate!

The produce and meat were good quality. The store was staffed well and lines were relatively short. It is a large grocery with a big selection. This is the grocery we visited that was close to the old Ballylintagh cemetery in Coleraine. You know the small one in the middle of the residential area, with a wrought iron fence out front, rolling grass with off kilter, upended gravestones that pre dated the creation of the US. It was something right out of a movie, with that lady in heels traversing the grounds just like us. There was the other larger more traditional graveyard across the street with the friendly local kitty that came to welcome us...or check to see if we were trouble in your case. This was an incredible, stumble upon Iocation I will never forget seeing.
