They have done a ton of work for me over the years including full replacement of our heating and AC systems for high efficiency ones, thermostat upgrades, water heaters, duct work... They have shown up at my house at 5AM in the morning to trouble shoot and replaced my old system on one of the coldest days of the year for me. The work is always quality and they always stand by it- if something isn't right they come back and fix it right away. What is the best about P&M to me is that they don't oversell you. I don't know anything about HVAC but Phil does not take advantage of that. He tells me what's practical and what he suggests, what will save me money now vs in the long run and let's me make my own decision. He consistently comes in cheaper than anyone else but more importantly I feel comfortable that I don't have to call around and get ten quotes when Phil tells me a price I know it's a fair one- this is rarely the case anymore. I once had an issue with a neighbor complaining about some construction happening at our house, Phil managed to smooth things over when it didn't even have anything to do with him. He's just that kind of guy- always going above and beyond. A good, honest, decent company with nice guys working in it. I send everyone I like to P&M. Everyone I don't like can use the other guys.

Here it is: It's beginning to make sense. Did you even run any water air or temperature tests before you installed the new heat pump? It makes sense why there was a refrigerant leak in the comfort air and now a refrigerant leak in the Aaon. Do didn't run any tests. And you didn't run any tests when you gave me a years warranty.

I chose Otis because he explained the work patiently and honestly. I was undecided about where to place the unit and he discussed what would be needed for each placement. I generally rely on Yelp reviews to help guide my decisions. In this case, I consulted with a couple of companies, many ignored the quote requests, instead arriving intent on selling THEIR units or trying to convince me to place the unit where it was most convenient to THEM. Mostly they just felt swarmy. I decided halfway through the consult that I was hiring Otis, because this is an expensive job and requires expertise, but just as importantly, someone with integrity. Later when I went to check his Yelp ratings, I didn't find his company, but I am happy to write the first review for this small, family business. If your unit is like mine and you need a 220 V line, you will need an electrician to run a separate line. I'm waiting for the electrician to complete his end of the work before I can enjoy my new unit. I'm confident it will run fine!

AC unit wasn't cooling very well, hit this vendor up and they responded immediately (even though it…read morewas late at night). Came by the next morning and quickly diagnosed that the issue was that my Nest thermostat that was previously installed wasn't compatible with my existing wiring. They then went out and bought a compatible thermostat, came back and installed. They also mentioned that there was a small leak in the refrigerant line and could try to patch and fill if I wanted or I could always have them come back in the future. I asked them to just finish the job if they could, and they actually came back in a couple hours to finish the job. Now the AC unit is working great - the place feels like an ice box! Mr. Hines was referred by a good friend for installing a residential generator at my home in…read moreBedford. He recommended Kohler and installed model 30RCL in Dec. 2016. I noticed in June, 2018 that the generator was not coming on when the grid went down, and I called Mr. Hines. He came out in early July and told me that there was a leaky gasket that was on back-order. By early Sept, the unit was still not working, although it had a 5-year warranty. I called Kohler and found out that Mr. Hines is not trained or approved by Kohler to install, service or repair their generators. Lucky for me, his dealer in NJ had submitted for the warranty. I called an approved Kohler electrician who visited and said there was a wiring error from the unit to the house panel. Mr. Hines continues to deny any responsibility on his part and blames the non-working generator on a back-ordered part at Kohler. What a fraud!

Righttime is either inexperienced, dishonest or both. They insisted a replacement condenser was…read moreneeded for our unit. I told "the boss" I wanted another opinion due to the cost and the price was instantly lowered by $2k ! At that point any trust was gone & I called another local company that came recommended. During the 2nd opinion I found out Rightime's Tech blew the fuse in the blower, emptied all coolant AND took the capacitor with him trying to guarantee the replacement work! All that was needed was a replacement schrader valve with all work completed for a few hundred dollars including the missing capacitor that the tech took & new coolant. I CANNOT recommend them. If you've gotten a diagnosis from them, get a 2ND OPINION as they cannot be trusted. There is no Right time to use a company that lies & sabotages your equipment.
