I then moved on to the one on one tutoring which helped me understand the complexities of the language. We had a fantastic experience with Academics Plus in getting an SSAT Flex test for my child. Due to…read moreCOVID, the SSAT has turned to an all online SSAT at home. We didn't think that would be the best approach for our child so I asked around about alternatives and was so happy to be referred to Academics Plus for a paper-based Flex test. Alexa with Academics Plus made the process very easy for me! After an online inquiry, she reached out with a phone call to explain their process and fees. I was able to schedule a test on my preferred date with no problems and Alexa kept in communication with me via email right up until test date to ensure I was aware of SSAT requirements, their COVID protocols, and generally able to answer any questions I had. Due to COVID, they are limiting entry into the facility at this time, so on the day of the test, I walked my 6th grader to the door and she met us there. She was very warm and made sure he was comfortable before they entered to go take the test. He was able to take the test in a private room and because there was nobody else in the room with him, he was able to unmask during the test, which made it a more comfortable experience for him. I have already recommended Academics Plus to friends but would want to share our positive experience with anyone looking for a paper-based SSAT option or generally needing a Flex test for the SSAT.
