This is by far our favorite dog park in Utah county. Our two dogs love coming here and always get tired out. It's unique because they use two fields and rotate which one is open, so the grass is never dead. It's a giant, fenced in area, it's well maintained, people are generally really good at picking up after their dogs, and they even have an agility course that our mini Aussie loves to train on. Our dogs have made so many friends here! Seriously, if you want to socialize your dog, this is the best place to take them. read more

This is by far the best dog park in Utah county. Very large space with lots of big mature trees provide shade, and there are benches for people to sit on as well. Owners are pretty responsible about cleaning up after their dogs for the most part, and I have yet to have a bad experience with anyone there yet. Friendly people, friendly dogs, lots of nice grass for the dogs to run in. There is also an agility course that is fenced and separate from the rest of the park. There are two different parks that they alternate between so the grass never gets too worn. read more

The boardwalk is so unique and fun to watch wildlife but wear Bug SPRAY! We were chased out by mosquitos and all of us left the boardwalk trail with 3-5 mosquito bites. A small playground is also there and usually has a myriad of children rummaging through. There's lots of grassy area for any activity you can dream of. There's horseshoe spots near the back corner as well. One bathroom location, which is as gross as every other park bathroom everywhere. The signs said closed for season (in April) but the doors were wide open so I'm not sure if that's taken as law around here or if anyone cares to check. The toilets are the metal, prison-esque and they're very gross. Not taken care of at all but that's not a surprise or much of an issue for me as I'm sure most park bathrooms are taken care of much. The best part about this park is its location by the Provo River and river trail. An excellent bike or walk path to take. All in all, it's a decent park and good place to start or end your walk/bike/run on the river trail.

Level of care has declined for the animals since Covid…read more We left our healthy 3 small dogs for a few days and wrote down (as verbally gave) strict instructions with the check in person that meds and diet restrictions were needed for one of the pups. I emphasized the strictness of feeding ONLY the food I brought, which was frozen fresh food already measured out in ziploc baggies. This pup in particular has severe allergies to everything but lamb and rice. The meds I brought needed to be administered for once a day for two more days. When I picked the pups up on the 4th day, I could tell that my instructions were not followed as my allergy-ridden pup had severely broken out with inflammation, redness, goopiness on his face. He was scratching profusely too. I was so upset but no one was available to discuss this with who could help. Once I got my pups home I took a closer look to examine the same dog and found that he also had broken out badly on his underside including on his little wee wee. I called the UDP back and told them about this additional evidence of showing that he was given food that was not the lamb I brought specifically for him. I couldn't get anyone on the phone to talk to, just through texting. The person responding to me denied feeding anything other than the expensive fresh food I brought for him--should have I expected anything differently? It was simple instructions, I thought. Too bad the workers didn't follow them. These symptoms only appear when he eats non-lamb based foods. I took him to my vet and right away the skin graph showed he had developed a very bad staph infection! The vet asked how did this happen, to which I told him of my suspicions with UDP boarding personnel not following the instructions I gave. I ended up with a $480 invoice from the vet for the exam, tests, and medications including antibiotics! I reached out again to UDP and got nowhere on accepting some responsibility for this. My biggest concern is that someone's pet could experience an even more serious result if the staff continue to function this way with clients. Having a vet clinic onsite doesn't matter if there is no reporting or interaction between the two groups. Honestly, many of the personnel now working in the facility appear to be going through a rehab program of sorts. A bit judgmental on my part but difficulty lies in appearance and demeanor. I know the vet clinic is second location to the one in West Bountiful. We used to go to this vet clinic but changed after we started being nickel and dime'd for unnecessary services, pressured up-sales and some influencing/guilting into more unnecessary treatments. One of our pups passed away while in their care too. We changed to the Clearfield Vet Clinic instead and got better service and pricing. Maybe it's time for the owner(s) to re-examine the operations of these businesses before things get worse. I used to love this place but since before Covid, I watched a steady decline in the quality and don't feel comfortable boarding my pets here anymore. Such a shame.

Today, me and my kids wanted to play basketball in the gym. Many of the hoops were much lower than 10 feet. Not a big deal. we went and talked to a couple of the girls behind the desk to ask them to raise the hoops so that we could play basketball at regulation height. One of the girls stood up to talk to me and said, "no, I think all of the hoops are at the right height. " I responded and said, "no, many of them are around seven or 8 feet. They should be at 10 feet. "She looked at me like I was speaking a different language and said no I believe we can't adjust the height of the hoops. I realize that maybe I was speaking to someone who had only worked there for a little while and maybe didn't know the rules or the procedures around raising and lowering the hoops. So I said, "I believe we can raise the hoops and you can use that tool (pointing at the tool by her) to raise them. If you get a chance, please help us raise one of these hoops to 10 feet. " I thought that I was really nice and respectful. What happened is nobody ever came out to help us raise the hoops to 10 feet they just sort of ignored our request. Not the end of the world, we still love this place. But I hope in the future, the staff is trained and able to assist in these types of things.

They do have what looks like a zip line, but I've never seen it actually being used and I'd actually say that for how awesome the rest of the park is, the actual playground area is a little lacking. That said, if I lived closer, I'd be happy to take my kids here every day

Excellent easy trail for families and joggers. This trail starts by the playground and tennis…read morecourts of the Spanish Fork Sports Park and then follows the Spanish Fork River. It was the perfect stroll for my young kids in the middle of the Summer because it is mostly shaded. The River was really high in June so it wasn't safe for kids to wade in, but I hear at the end of Summer or Sept it can be pretty low. The trail end on one end of the park but then extends beyond the park to the East and goes through a tunnel under the main road. Not sure how far it extends from there. There is a map at the beginning where I mentioned earlier. Perhaps a closer look with tell you those secrets. The trail is well taken care of and fairly wide and smooth. Great for strollers or for running on. HINT: There is a Fantastic climbing tree located in the middle of the trail in the Sports Park! So good, I climbed all the way to the top! :) Someone also attached a little swing that my kids couldn't get enough of.
