The best! Debra is an amazing spanish tutor. She has been working with my daughter and niece since the pandemic hit. They have so much fun with her. She really knows how to work with kids at all ages. She has great lesson plans, makes everything fun to learn by not just teaching with books or words but games and drawing. We do a shared class with another family - Debbie spends 45mins with our 6yr olds and another 45mins with our 9yr olds. Debbie is brilliant at adapting her teaching style to the different age groups, she mixes up games and puzzles, reading and writing, she'll often take them outside to learn and keeps them engaged throughout. The children have really enjoyed learning with her and are definitely showing improvement. I have taken classes with Debbie for the summer and I really enjoyed my experience so far. She is very friendly and I have learned a lot about Argentinean culture (where she is from). Debbie is very patient and flexible with scheduling. She has a variety of ways for you to learn Spanish such as conversation, games, and work sheets. Keep in mind your progress is what you put into it. There is some homework although doesn't take too much time. It is important to practice outside of lesson to learn another language. In my experience with Spanish lessons with Debbie, I have learned a lot about grammar which was what I needed to learn. I always struggled with foreign language classes back when I was in high school but Debbie makes it easy to understand.
