She told me it had corn and potatoes in it. "Sign me up!" I said. I also got a cream soda from the fridge. The food came to my table pretty quickly. My friend asked me if I liked it and I really did! So she got one, too. She also happened to get a cream soda. We both enjoyed the food immensely! We chatted a little with the lady and the chef. Nice people. I will absolutely be returning. They also gave me a paper copy menu to take with me - it has the nightly specials on it. I love a good "hole in the wall" restaurant. And this is definitely a good "hole in the wall" restaurant. That said, I decided to go with a pasta salad instead of fries this most recent time (order still exceeded $20+). I asked for 4 sides of the pecan sauce that they have. I have never had anything like it. I bought it by the bottle several times. The waitress/server/host who took payment and received $3 tip on takeout order (I know, nothing crazy at all, but it wasn't $0 either)-- she had nerve to tell me the sauces are typically just for the fries. Which would have been cool if she still proceeded to get them for me. The sauces aren't big, very small actually so 4 is not some crazy ask for a half pound burger with all the fixings. I had to ask again and tell her that I come here all the time and use the sauce for my burger. (I had a bottle of it still at home but this was a lunch break trip back to the office).
