TLDR; AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE -- Yelp is the only place where the rating for DG *seems*…read moreaccurate. To start, as of 1.15.2024, it is day FOUR, that I and the other residents in building 1 cannot use our own toilets due to a backup that occurred on the twelfth. The issue being with so many residences should've been classified as an emergency and dealt with or at least genuinely triaged on Saturday. Sunday there seemed to an "emergency services" pluming truck outside, that just sat and ran, hose not visibly connected to anything, they were here for 2 hours... left and still nothing. To make matters worse, it's a holiday weekend. So, when this eventually gets resolved or we get notified, it may be well into SIX days that an entire building in this complex did not have functional plumbing. The showers don't drain, can't run dishwashers etc... And we are all expected to use/share the 2 stalls in the fitness area - that do not even have toilet seat covers, walking out into 20-degree weather just to F----n pee. Before moving here, I saw the 1-3 star reviews and figured that they were in smaller ratio to the 4-5 star reviews, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad. It is. I can't tell you how many maintenance requests I've had to put in within my first year of living here. Neighborhood highlights: - RATS (they'll say its taken care of internally, but I don't need to see them on my way to the car or in the pool either) - Trash Compactor breaks often. - The laundry room is intermittently inoperable. - You will be told you'll have a washer/dryer in unit, get there and the unit changed so there isn't but there is a pamphlet to RENT a W/D set from the same company that hosts the machines in the aforementioned laundry room. - There will be random leaking on your ceiling from the ducts or unit above you. - Roaches the size of your thumb. - Apathetic leasing staff. The turnover rate should be in Guinness. - Online mentions they have an elevator. They do not. Luckily, I'm not that far up so it's fine but it's a convenience many would bet on. - The visitor gate goes thru frequent cycles of not working. I won't mention any of the people problems, well because it's communal living, disturbances are to be expected, maybe not in the form of cars being lit on fire in the parking lot or Dunwoody police standing outside with automatic weapons but eh. If you JUST need to land somewhere any you have god-like patience, then by all means sign a lease here but if you have this tab open for prospect - CLOSE IT and KEEP LOOKING. So I'm SUPER EXCITED‼‼‼ But let's start from the beginning I went on at minimum 8 tours this day, before getting to the SLX, and when I tell you BEFORE COMING TO THE SLX I had the worst experiences in my life, with customer service greetings and just over all them acting as if they didnt care if I moved into their community or not, I'm telling you THEY DIDNT CARE THAT WAS UNTIL I CAME HERE AND MET MIASIA, She literally made up for all the horrible tours I went on the horrible customer service I received the way I was treated she made up for all of that in the first 3 minutes Her customer service her communication the way she greeted me was even better, she changed my day and made my evening. as upscale and luxurious as these apartments are she made me feel at home. So welcoming so sweet so informative and patient with me, took me to every unit i wanted to see then took me back to the units again because I wanted to compare them to the other ones I just saw, then once again because I forgot I needed to take video, !!!!!!and did it with a smile!!!!! She's walking me through giving me information, answering questions and also giving me some space to just take it in. While trying to apply for the apartment, things were going wrong on the computer so She told me to come into her office so she could help me fill out the application (amazing) we did it together, this is my first time living on my own and she helped me out so much. anytime I called, she answered, if she wasn't available she called back immediately.. if I emailed she responded immediately. Also, my mom is super over protective and not only did she deal with me calling and emailing 2/3 times a day she also dealt with my mother doing the same and never complained one time never made me feel like i was bothering her, not once. I've only been in Atlanta less than a month and she's actually made my experience!!! While also changing my opinion of Atlanta nothing short of AMAZING.. Unfortunately, I didn't get my dream apartment, but when she found out I wasn't going to get my apartment. The communication, never stopped!!answering her phone, never stopped!! Emailing me back immediately, Never stopped!!!!! And although I didn't get in I just felt like someone needed to know this if you're thinking about renting here please ask for MIASIA, she's going to give you first class delta one service (hahaha) She's also keeping in contact with me while I build up rental history and time on my job.. I wish every city had this service…read more Moving to a big city that you're not at all familiar with can be stressful- especially if you don't have any friends/family nearby to tell you the areas to avoid. We drove by this Promove location (doesn't look like much on the outside) while in town for apartment hunting and made a mental note to check them out. I am SOOO glad I did. Joel Pignataro made everything easy. He understood what we were looking for and guided us towards properties that he had heard great things about. He told us success stories and mistakes that he had heard from previous customers. He told us the areas we'd probably want to avoid. Joel was very patient and extremely helpful. The company's search algorithm contained more properties than I was able to find using apps like apartment list, rad pad, padmapper, etc. If you're looking for apartments, I strongly recommend stopping into one of these locations. This service is literally like having a trusted friend who will help you choose where to look/live.

The agent was very friendly during our first call and explained everything clearly, so at first I felt like I was in good hands with a solid sales team. By day three, I had already received four calls, a few texts, and several emails. The "personalized" list they sent was basically every apartment in the entire city, which didn't feel tailored in the slightest. It made me question how Promove can still operate this way in todays era, because the service feels outdated and very one-size-fits-all. I also wouldn't be surprised if they expect a commission once you find a place, even when their recommendations didn't even come close. The options they listed as my top matches weren't even in the areas I selected, which made me question whether they actually review your criteria. They should really focus on delivering a quality, tailored experience rather than sending out a generic list of every community in Atlanta and hoping one works.

My wife and I are both self employed and worked from home last year until our son was born…read more Needing extra space, we stretched our budget to join the Midtown Industrious location because it was convenient to our home and met all our needs including access to a newly renovated gym in the building that was the highlight of our tour. Fast forward 5 months into our year long contract and access to the gym has been revoked unless we pay an additional $100 per month. Hannah Mostellar, the General Manager, has refused to honor their commitment, is unwilling to compromise on my monthly rate, and will not terminate our lease early so that we can find an alternative space. Instead she referenced my contract stating that services may be removed at any time at Industrious' sole discretion. Don't be fooled by the "extra amenities" as they can be stripped from you without warning or compromise. The only services they are contractually required to provide are printer services and internet. It's a shame that an organization that was recently acquired by a massive, publicly traded organization (CBRE), is unwilling to do right by small business owners. Look elsewhere if you are a small business owner who values commitment and compromise from your business partners.

The set up was nice - there were the obvious entry seating, guest relations person, there was a cafe, the conference rooms, and the smaller office spaces, and finally they had some other cool spaces. Hubs worked out of the Library. There was a desk space and a library background set up! It was great for his Teams calls. The wifi worked well and it seemed to be a nice space.
