Beware of post-cancellation charges and unresponsive billing support I signed up for Spaces Santa Clara because the workspace itself looked great--clean design, solid Wi-Fi, and a personable front-desk team. Unfortunately, everything unraveled once I decided to leave. Clunky, confusing cancellation: Finding the cancellation option on the Regus/Spaces member portal felt like a scavenger hunt. It's buried under several sub-menus, and the wording is anything but clear. After far too much clicking around, I finally submitted the request and even received written confirmation. Still charged--twice: Despite cancelling, my card was hit with charge in back-to-back months. I emailed billing support immediately and looped in a regional manager. Aside from automated "we've received your request" replies, there's been radio silence--no timeline, no accountability, no refund. Bottom line: The workspace may look polished, but their backend systems and customer support are anything but. If you join: Screenshot every step of your cancellation. Monitor your statements like a hawk. Be prepared to chase down refunds on your own time. Until Spaces Santa Clara (and parent company Regus) streamline their cancellation flow and fix their billing follow-up, I can't recommend them. read more

Update: THEY ARE STILL CHARGING. Once you give them your credit card number, they will go and charge it up. They'll run you around in circles, tell you to do this to cancel, do that to cancel, and you can do everything they tell you to do and get all the confirmation emails. A week later, still charging. How does the billing work? My first visit was just over 60 days ago and they've now charged me for 4 months of billing cycles. Do you have to pay 2 months ahead now? 100% contrary to what the guy that gave me the tour explained. I came in for a free visit and walk through. Walk through was pretty basic, just showed me the tables and benches that were available for use if you didn't have a private office. At this time, the rep explained that I can sign up now for a prorated rate (three weeks of the month left) and that I will NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL A MONTH AFTER (after three weeks), so I have a chance to try it out and cancel. At this time he also advised to go on auto pay because missed payment will TERMINATE the agreement and I will lose access. So to avoid disruption, go on autopay. Okay, so I take him at his word and sign up. I was kind of wondering what now, I visited once but it was pretty loud, no better than a cafe. I noticed the next month that an auto pay had be rejected and cancelled from them. I didn't think it was very good value, and I didn't get anything out of the experience but some noisy tables. Nothing to explain how anything worked, do I need to sign in? How much of the facility is off limits for the membership? I don't know, so I thought it best to let it TERMINATE PER what the rep had said. Fast forward another month and I get an email from their sales rep, finally contacting me to see what my needs are. I was surprised, the guy I spoke with stated that cancelled payments would terminate the agreement. So I put in a complain, this person Mary says its not her deal and that I should cancel. So I cancel and she forwards me to another person. Speak with them, and this person doesn't see an issue because he notices I just cancelled with them recently. I look back, my credit card had rejected their payments because they've tried to charge nearly 3 months of membership fees within a 4 week period! Not only was the prorated monthly get charged, they charged another FULL month's of membership a week after, and tried to charge another full month's of membership just a few weeks after that. THEIR BILLING PRACTICES FLAG YOUR CREDIT CARD AS SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY. And I also find out they've eventually did get their money. Only response by Justin Wilson who I spoke with, is that these are their terms and they can't help with something they didn't know about. Well, they know about it now, and still, nothing helpful. I have expressed that I am still unclear on their terms of billing. They refuse to be helpful, so did I pay for 3 months? When does the billing term end? Do I still get to visit? We have been at this Spaces Augustine 101 location for about year, but we have already expanded from a single membership, to a private office, to a bigger private office, and now two offices!:) Love the convenient location to 101 & major highways, the closeness to Whole Foods, the onsite amenities, and the nearby trails etc, just the whole vibe is cool! And parking too:) Most of all, really appreciate the onsite manager Kathryn & her team! She & the team are always very prompt and very helpful in answering our questions & requests, making sure we are ok in terms of our office needs etc. Love it!:) It makes coming onsite to work in an office very enjoyable! Spaces at Agustine has an open setting but also many quiet options for telephone calls and Zoom meetings. Pete and Jeff are helpful with dining and shopping suggestions within walking distance. They are also helpful with technical things. The covered parking is right next door. I usually use Regus which is more formal. But this has a fun but professional ambiance. It is conveniently located between Central Expressway and 101. I wholeheartedly recommend this location. read more

We selected SPACES because it makes a good impression on clients. The front office staff is wonderful - they go out of their way to make sure we feel at home. Spaces Augustine 101 is my first experience working in a shared coworking office space. And to say that it's been amazing is an understatement! To start with, the shared spaces on the first-floor has numerous clean tables, desks, and small cubbies pleasantly arranged. The giant panoramic windows bring in eternal sunshine from the outside. The whole location oozes "creativity" out of everyone - and even someone like me can draw above-average straight stick-figures. The entire staff is just so incredibly helpful and pleasant. No matter the time of the day, they always have a smile on their face and will go above-and-beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. The second-floor private offices are appropriately furnished with high-quality tables and chairs. You're allowed to bring in your monitors and TVs and whatever else you need. Overall, a fantastic place to work and network with other like-minded people! read more

I can't be more happier to found this wonderful workspace back in May. A very new, clean and modern building with lovely amenities. This place is awesome and perfectly for startup. Either need room or just a desk. It located at the heart of Silicon Valley and just 9mins to SJC Airport and freeway is around the corner. Of course, with the lovely folks at the Front Desk. I love having access to all their amenities, the space is beautiful and unlike other shared coworking offices there is the entire Santa Clara Square campus that is always bustling with people playing outdoors and social events happening weekly. I'm almost a year into working out of co-working spaces and I'm a huge fan of Spaces. The Augustine location is clean, SPACE-ious, and there's so much natural light which is a huge plus for me.
