You are being warned the 5 star reviews are not all valid since this company and owner are a total…read morescam! They take advantage of the elderly and if you notice most the of 5 star reviews are accounts that never reviewed anything else! My family had two storage units here for years and combined into one, Janet created a huge issue when my mom couldn't find the key and said we needed paperwork showing my mom had access even though she knew her for years. They said only our dad signed the contract so we provided all paperwork including the will from my dad. They stopped taking our calls and they refused the paperwork and even as we continued to pay the monthly payment they then denied the payments so they could confiscate and sell my families items and the owner and the front office lady Janet are thieves and truly horrible people. Even our lawyer said he has never seen anything like this and they ignored the certified will from our father stating my mom was the beneficiary, we sent all requested items and paperwork and they refused to accept any of it! They are auctioning off units full of peoples things for the same reason because that's the real business they are in! I'm now also reaching out to the state senators who we have contacts with because this company needs to be held accountable for stealing from the elderly! I highly suggest you do not put any of your valuables with this storage company because they will stop taking calls and put a lock on your unit even when paid in full and will take your families possessions!

Here is the good and the bad…read more The Good. I have bought (2) awnings from D&D. One in the fall of 2016 and a second one in the spring of 2017 (to match the first one). Quality is great. They look nice and at least the first unit has held up well to the elements. The installation crew is timely, fast, neat and did a good job. No mess, no fuss, no excuses and no issues here with the install crew. Now for the Bad. Please realize you have to pay 50% down to place an order and get on their production schedule so now you are hooked and they have your money. That is okay as long as you finally get what you pay for. But, the first unit was quoted to me as 4 weeks lead time. It took 6 1/2 to get. The second unit was quoted as 6 weeks lead time. Just got it after 8 1/2 weeks. My frustration is that I had to call and call to get the job completed at their shop. Then I had to call and call to get the installation scheduled and they delayed and missed the install date on 2 separate occasions. It took the 3rd time to finally get it installed. The most aggravating part of it all is that NO ONE from the office would call me with an appointment reschedule, no apology, no nothing. They just didn't show up and made no effort to contact me. Then if you called the office all you would get was a voice message recording, not a live person, and you had to just hope someone got your message because they would not call back. I finally tracked them down via a cell phone number from a business card I had kept from the 1st unit. Thankfully I kept my receipts and records. Thus if you are patient, don't care about the date of completion and don't have a time table or set schedule for your awnings, I would recommend them because the quality and installation of the final product is GREAT. But, if you are on a tight schedule, deadline and/or don't want chase and chase the contractor, BUYER BEWARE. They are not very timely and they are pitiful on customer communication. That is the fairest and most honest opinion I can offer as a buyer/consumer.
