It's a lovely stop along the outdoor Buchanan Street pedestrian mall. With four levels, lots of retail, a few restaurants, and one great chocolatier, Princes Square Shopping Centre is worth a few hours of shopping for the ladies on vacation in Glasgow. The facility is just steps from the St. Enoch subway station on the Inner Line if you need a reference to the metro stops.

Granted,…read moreI don't actually do much shopping here but it is nice for a place to take cover on a rainy day and browse the shops. This is an upmarket shopping centre which has more expensive high street shops like Reiss, Ted Baker, Vivienne Westwood and Cos (which I'm still yet to check out!). The centre is certainly decorated to match the crowd it's looking to attract - glitzy, glam and always clean and tidy. I like the size of the centre as well - it's very dinky but still has lots of shops and is easy to navigate. There's also a host of restaurants, bars and cafés but I'll be honest - I've not visited many of them. I ate at Barca probably 4 years ago and also one of the places on the bottom floor but I think that's changed hands. One down side is that if you are dining at a restaurant on the lower level, parents will tend to let their kids run riot in the centre circle which can be a bit of a mood-killer. Princes Square doesn't have a car park due to its location but it is really close to train and subway. If you do really fancy driving, probably St Enoch or Mitchell Street are the closest car parks.

Situated inside Princes Square, you are greeted warmly 'Welcome to the World of Jo Malone' and their intention is clear: to make you feel as welcome as possible because let's be honest...who visits Jo Malone other than to purchase a gift/treat for themselves? The shop smells INCREDIBLE and it should do because they have so many nice fragrances that clearly work together. The table directly infront of you houses sample candles/perfumes of each of their most popular fragrances which you can sample. On either side, there are shelves stacked beautifully (and very precisely; everything has a place) of various lotions and other products they offer. The till counter is to the left hand side and to the right, there is an area where you can receive complimentary arm and hand massages. I knew exactly what I wanted but I took the time to smell the other candles. In my opinion, nothing is as good as the Wood Sage & Sea Salt though and the girl very kindly boxed and bagged the candle for me. Yeah £42.95 is perhaps crazy for a candle...but it's worth every penny. I love it. I also got myself booked in for an arm and hand massage which I'm really looking forward to! The girl who served me was lovely and took the time to chat to me on a more personal level then just a customer which I really appreciated. The nicest touch came the following day though when a hand written card came through the post thanking me for my custom. A little much? I don't think so actually. It rounded off my treat quite nicely and I'm heading back soon to pick up the perfume.

Their bestsellers include; Pomegranate Noir, Red Roses, Lime Basil & Mandarin and Grapefruit all of which of amazing. The packaging here is also beautiful, white packaging with the Jo Malone logo and black ribbon, making it an ideal gift or a special treat for yourself. They also do little boxes with small trial fragrances and bath goods inside which is a great idea for wedding favours. The candles smell amazing and they look just just as good so if your bank balance allows then it would be gorgeous to have around the home. The staff are also really helpful in this branch and will be able to help you find the perfect scent for you.

Four days on, Evri cannot locate the package. Today, I attempted to contact HoF customer service, which is an exercise in frustration. I requested a full refund but have only been refunded the delivery charges. Had I known that HoF uses Evri I would have never placed the order. I certainly would never order from HoF. I honestly can't say whose customer service is worse - HoF's or Evri's. They're both terrible. Unless you enjoy being gaslighted (by both HoF and Evri), I would highly discourage anyone from making an online purchase from HoF.

The first time I used it I had lost a lot of weight and did not know what suited my new figure. I was going to a wedding so went to get an outfit for that. I think if your going to do this you should be open-minded and try everything they bring, this is what I did and I got a beautiful dress that I would never have picked for myself. I have a wedding coming up in December so decided to do it again. They offer services for any type of outfit you need, like going on holiday, new work clothes and they also offer a wardrobe renewal if you fancy a change. I booked online which was quick and simple they ask you a few questions about what your looking for, what you like, colours and your sizes. I was given a 90 minute slot. I headed to the personal shopper area, based near the men's shoes department. I was met by my personal shopper, Jordan. He explained that the normal rooms they use were busy so I was brought to a make shift dressing room in Mr Fraser's old office, which was stunning, apparently not many people get to see in the office. It made the experience even more special. Jordan asked me a few questions and then he headed off to find me some outfits. I sat on the couch and looked at magazines and relaxed. Jordan then arrived with armfulls of dresses. I then began trying them on. There was no pressure to like them, but I tried them all on. Nothing in the first lot suited. So Jordan headed off again. The 2nd last dress I tried on was the one, loved it, and again like my first personal shopper experience it was a dress I would never have picked for myself. I would highly recommend giving this a go, I think you worry that you are going to feel pressured into buying something but it's all very chilled out and fun to get a little pampered.

Superdrug are doing a promotion where you get 5% off 1st class stamps. Now, this might not seem much but then you add up all those pennies on your Christmas card stamps it could go towards an extra present or perhaps a wee new lip gloss for yourself. As far as I know, Superdrug is the (or at least one of the) only places to do this promotion. You can't even get it when buying in bulk from the post office. They do it on and off throughout the year so it's definitely worth stocking up on your stamps during these periods. I never thought I'd be so enthusiastic about stamps.

It has everything you could ever want from such a shop; medicines, hair products, skin care, electrical goods, batteries, a huge range of cosmetics and much more 2. Even if they are rushed off their feet they still take the time to help you out if you have a query or check their stock if the item you want doesn't appear to be there. 3. They always have fantastic offers on. If I go in for one thing - I usually come out with about ten more as the offers really are too good to resist including my favourite L'Oreal shampoo nearly always being on a buy one get one free offer. 4. They always have lots of staff on so even when it is busy you never have to wait long in the queue. 5. They stock make-up such as GOSH, Bloom and Barry M that aren't often stocked in other stores. 6. They have a Superdrug cheek tint that is very similar to that of Benefits "Benetint" I found this after years of using Benetint and can tell you that there is absolutely no difference, well apart from the fact that "Benetint" is around £23 and Superdrugs own is £1.91!!!!! 7. For the past few months they have had an offer on where you get 25% off Superdrug goodies and 10% off all other goodies if you fill in a short survey online. Wow... those are just a few reasons but if you are looking for a Superdrug, I would say this one is the best.

For example the Crabtree & Evelyns, The Body Shops and the Lushs of the high street. While these products might be a nice little indulgence they rarely "do what it says on the tin". The moisturisers look and smell lovely but they don't actually moisturise your skin as well as some good old Palmers Cocoa Butter from Boots at a fraction of the price, and that sort of thing. However I believe L'Occitane is different. Not only are the products pretty to look at and smell but they also work really well. The staff in the store seem to genuinely know about caring for your skin and hair and can direct you to the range which is most suitable for your skin type. While the products are quite expensive I feel that it is worth it if you are trying to address a specific beauty concern and of course they do sell lovely gift sets for men and women if you want to treat someone special. For Christmas this year I bought my Dad a great old fashioned shaving set from L'Occitane with a proper shaving brush and bowl and some rich, creamy shaving foam which I know he uses on special occasions instead of his usual "slap on some Gillette foam" routine. For myself I keep the Almond Soap in constant supply. It contains tiny little pieces of almond shell for exfoliation and leaves my skin lovely and soft. I also love the Roses 4 Reines Bath and Shower Gel. It contains four different kinds of rose and the smell is gorgeous and subtle, not overpowering and the bottle looks great in the bathroom. It reminds me of something an old Hollywood beauty like Grace Kelly would have in her bathroom. What I like best about L'Occitane products though is that they are mostly free from parabens, mineral oils and other nasties, which is a total bug bare of mine!

The staff are also very helpful and are always more than happy to let you test any of the products and answer any questions you might have.

I was very pleased when Laura released a range of mineral makeup as I find this still gives great coverage but it doesn't feel as though you have a load of slap on! I have to agree with Eleanor that the bath and body products are divine! I have very sensitive skin but Laura Mercier's products don't seem to irritate it which is great. Any good makeup artist will tell you that great makeup is nothing without the right tools and Laura Mercier's makeup brushes are the best I've tried. My mum bought me a set for Christmas and I look after them like they are made of solid gold! I bought baby shampoo purely for washing my special makeup brushes, sad but true! This store is definitely worth a look if you fancy treating yourself but very few people could afford to kit themselves out with loads of Laura Mercier products. They're not as expensive as I expected but that doesn't mean they're cheap either!
