I cannot recommend Spa Xian, Alex and her mother enough! Forget the big outfit massage parlors where you get a different masseuse every time and pay through the nose for an average massage... Alex is incredible, changing up massage techniques based on pain and adjusting pressure accordingly. She uses a combination of hands, elbows, and hot stones to work out any knots. She is even skilled to walks on backs professionally if needed! I wouldn't trust anyone else. She has been even more accommodating recently coming to my house to give me an hour massage which has a been a HUGE help with my newborn / not wanting to travel. I had one of the best massages I have ever had from April at Spa Xian in Boca Raton. I found them through Groupon but instead of purchasing the Groupon they offered to give me the same price if I purchased it directly through them which is what I did. What a great value. I got a 45 minute hot stone massage for $45. I came in with some lower back pain which I shared with April. She worked the knots out, applying some techniques I hadn't experienced before. The first part of the massage was with her hands and forearms over the sheet and then on bare back before the stones were introduced, along with a couple stretches. It feels great to go to a business where they make you feel welcomed, they know you and make note of what you like in a therapy session. The woman who works there works alone so she had to get up and answer phones and the door 3 times as we were doing the massage. As she's massaging, she tells me "no one wants to work with me because people in boca only tip $20"... I'm thinking umm that's a good amount? After my massage I pay her the amount: $50, and give her a $12 tip; which is 25%, she tells me: "next time you come give me $20 people from boca tip me more"!! Like what! there won't be a next time! And I AM from boca?? You can't chose how much people tip you! The massage itself is amazing but it's very rude to show how money hungry you are to your customers. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, Do not bother going there. My daughters bought me a gift for a massage, but this was a TERRIBLE experience as I showed up and the Spa REFUSED to even give me the massage. The lady there came out, did not speak a word of English, proceeded to keep yelling angrily into Google Translate on her phone and showing me her phone in order to speak. She continually bashed the previous owners saying that she just took over the spa the last few days & that the other owners were terrible, that the money my daughters spent for the massage gift to me was given to the previous owners and that she would not honor it. I did NOT receive my massage, and instead received a super STRESSFUL experience and now my daughters have to deal with trying to demand their money back. Very rude spa. read more
