I think I would prefer to be offered the tea before the massage, and for the massage therapist to hand me the water so that it's a separate experience from when you handed the bill. The lifting facial is totally relaxing and I can see a difference in my skin immediately after the facial. There is less puffiness and there appear to be less lines as well. It's all about the massaging techniques and strokes used during the entire session. Victoria seems to be well versed and educated when it comes to the skin, inner body and much more. The facility seems to offer a plethora of treatments including scalp massages for hair growth, body wraps, specific facials and body treatments that all target specific areas or problematic issues. I have already purchased another Groupon for the Microdermabrasion set and hope to have the same experience. I attempted to purchase a single body wrap but was only offered a package. Despite the fact that I only found one yelp review, I decided to take a chance on Etuale by purchasing their Groupon deal for 1 session of microdermabrasion. I'm so happy that I didn't judge this place based on the lack of reviews. The reason there are so few reviews, is merely because this is a new business, and lets face it, everyone is busy/gets sidetracked with everything else going on in our lives--it even took me over a week to finally buckle down and write this review! But I promised myself I would take the time to get the word out about this spa, because I hope other people enjoy services here and I hope the business succeeds as well! I called prior to scheduling to ask some questions and inquire about the facials listed on their regular menu of services. The receptionist could not have been more friendly, accommodating and patient with all of my questions. She also advised me that the Groupon deal for microdermabrasion is for a 30 min session & regular priced is 1hr. I already had a good feeling about my future service. I ended up adding their regular facial to my microdermabrasion appointment. On the date of my appointment, my beautiful esthetician, Olga, first met with me in the cute reception area to go over my concerns and skin overview. After our quick discussion, she went back to the room to prepare the regime she thought would be best for my skin type. (Side note: Olga has perfect, glowing and healthy looking skin, which I would hope that your esthetician should! But you never know! Her skin is impeccable!) They agreed and understood. My mistake for not checking monthly statements more intently but they charged me for her account 29 times (despite her never going in for massages) (I do recall being confused as I am also a member and thought maybe some of those charges were for my account- but they weren't). They were all for my Ex. My account was paid in full. 3 charges I got visa to refund. 3 the manager said they would transfer to me. They are refusing to refund me or transfer over the 23 other credits to my account. They told me to call an attorney. Horrible owner that won't do the right thing for a long time customer. Update- The owner didnt transfer over the 3 credits to my account as I was told by Angie his manager. When I got him on the phone finally, we had a heated debate. He was rude and unwilling to cooperate. He offered that I could use 8 of the 26 credits at his location only - which is an hour from where I now live. He deleted my ex wifes account and wiped out her credits without notifying here, voiding a legal contract where she should have had at least 60 days to use them. Essentially now keeping all my money from her remaining 18 credits =$1350. I reached out to ME corporate mulitple times and they have not helped me resolve this issue. Corporate passed on my emails to him directly. Jorge called me tonight and argued with me on the phone. He is now pulling the 8 credits he offered me and will be filing a dispute with VISA to get the other 3 charges back into his pocket. Plus he deleted my Ex's account with 18 credits. Its not enough that he stole 26x $75 ($1950). He wants the full 29x $75 ($2175). Hes a total crook. I have called the police.
