Why can't Yelp allow you to choose 0 stars?? Or even negative? If you have a Groupon for this business....you need to call Groupon and get your money back.... STAT!! Groupon buyer BEWARE!!!! I arrived tonight (Friday) to my 6:30 appointment at 6:20 with a smile on my face.. looking forward to a relaxing facial. I told her I have a 6:30 appointment for microdermabrasion and full facial. She immediately pulls open her Brochure and asks me how I'm going to pay??? . Confused...I told her I had a Groupon... and so...the nightmare begins. I really don't understand how this unprofessional, rude and unethical person named Bea can run a business. She not only told me she wouldn't take me as a customer but also told me that she didn't care if I couldn't get my money back. She stated Groupon doesn't pay her from Thursday to Sunday... so she can only take "Groupon people" on Monday/Tuesdays (shitty days of the week). She said she has a contract with Groupon and they won't let her take "these" customers on those days. (Meaning she won't get paid from Thursday to Sunday). I knew she was lying through her teeth at that point. She continued to talk in circles as I read the fine print again. There was no such disclaimer in the fine print. I showed and read the paragraph to her and at that point she told me she didn't care and to call Groupon. I told her to call Groupon and she refused. She started yelling and told me to leave her store. ( btw.. it's not even her store, she rents a back closet from a hair salon) I wish I was calm enough to record her because you couldn't believe what was coming out of her mouth. After going back and forth with her I knew I was wasting my time and energy with this unethical liar. I left and called Groupon in my car. I reported her and ultimately spoke to someone to get my money back as well. They apologized and will contact a supervisor to get back to me. Thanks Groupon. I will be reporting her to the BBB for her unethical business practices.. (Remember Bea, you can't kick them out when they come to investigate your "business") Btw..Please check out the hidden reviews on "reviews not recommended". Its on the bottom of the main page. I had a groupon for microdermabrasion facial, which was a pretty good deal. Bea made sure i was feeling relaxed and comfortable diring the whole visit. She delivered quite professional and gentle care for my skin, on top of which i got a very relaxing massage, which i enjoyed alot. Although i would rather prefer a quiet soothing atmosphere instead a loud radio music playing at the hair salon next room. This is how I expected my first bikini wax to go: screaming to the point of making someone deaf, quitting mid wax from all the pain and extreme soreness in my bikini area. Is that what happened? NOPE! Bea is one of a kind! I literally felt nothing through my entire waxing session and I just couldn't believe it. She was quick but gentle at the same time and before I even knew it, she said "alright you're done!" My whole experience there was just amazing. She even applied aloe vera and neosporin to help with possible irritation or itchiness, which I didn't even get! But it was still very much appreciated. Super clean and I love how my face looks and feels after a facial. I keep a monthly routine with her. She is very friendly and explains everything to me. Although I have been going to European Wax center for years for full body wax, I love how she waxes my eyebrows and I noticed that the wax she uses seems to be working well with my hair, it doesn't grow back every 3-4 weeks and I have less ingrown hairs especially on my face. I initially went in for a wax and facial cleanse.... my face feels amazing, however my bikini area is completely breaking out... a bunch of blistery bumps have come out over the last few months and they wont go away. The last contact I had with any waxing of any kind was at Spa Waxing By Bea. During my blow drying session, I heard the lady that assisted me cursing and using unprofessional language. The employees in general for the location are customer friendly and do a great job, but the Spa Waxing part of the business, I definitely do NOT recommend. I will do a follow up after my visit to the doctors, the itching and burning sensation has gotten the best of my moods and when I called to inquire about what to do with my situation, and I was told that I did not get that from her business, to find out where I have been making contact with my skin. It is definitely beyond irritation at this point since its been 2 months...I have never had this and my husband does not appreciate the grand gesture of some type of irritation I never had, all of a sudden coming up. Hopefully my review can save someone else the headache and doctor visits. read more
