It was an amazing experience! We planned a girls spa day for five of us. We arrived and checked in and were walked through for a quick tour and showed where we could change and put our stuff away. We spent a few minutes in the sauna and then went to our first treatments. Facials and massages were fantastic! We booked for 90 minute massages and the extra time was so worth it! Before leaving, I booked a return trip, so see y'all soon!! read more

Spa Sydell Integrative Aesthetics - Day Spas Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

I came here with my sister to try to relax. Upon entering we was greeted immediately by three young ladies and offered water while Checking in. After registration Lindsey gave us a tour of the spa. Showing us the waiting area, steam room and ladies locker room/ shower area. In the waiting area they had tea and water readily available. They use to offer snacks, but I'm guessing since COVID it was taken away. Not only did my service not start on time it also ended early. Was supposed to start at 3 and started at 3:12 ended at 4:04. The massage experience wasn't as good as I'd experienced in the past. I expected to be asked what my focus areas would be, but wasn't so I assumed he knew what he was doing since I filled out the intake forms. The massage itself wasn't good at all. I feel so bad because Will was very nice just not good at giving massages. I asked for medium pressure and it literally just felt like he was rubbing oil on me. My lower back wasn't touched at all. He glanced over mostly everything expect my shoulders. He spent all of 30 seconds on both of my feet and I love a good foot massage. Another 30-40 seconds on my hands and the movement was very quick. There was a lot of rubbing and pressing/ holding not enough technique and massaging. It definitely was not a Swedish massage. I've never had something quiet like that. 2/10 he tried, but needs more training My sisters services again started late. Was supposed to begin at 4:15 didn't go back until 4:35, but Anthony more than made it up. He asked what her focus areas was, what pressure she liked and anything that didn't make her comfortable. He gave her a headband to pull her hair back. She said he was so amazing she cried. He really released the tension from her body. 10/10 highly recommend Anthony! The sauna was amazing!! Well kept and clean. Showers and women's locker area was nice as well. Fully stocked with all the essentials like cottons balls, Qtips, hair dryer, lotion, deodorant and more. I'm not sure what's above the spa, but the building kept shaking and you hear very loud noises as if something was being dropped. This review is long over due from April of 2024. I did speak to the front desk staff about my experience and she apologized and said that someone would reach out and see how they could make up for my experience and put credits on my account, but that never happened. read more

I have been coming here for over a year and I love it. I have the Sydell membership so I rotate between a Sydell Facial with Stephanie or a Sydell Massage with Nicole. Both are absolutely amazing. They are so personable and kind and give me the exact results that I want. The facilities are clean and everyone is great to work with. They validate parking in their garage. I recently had an issue where the garage gate was broken. This was not their fault and out of their control since they are part of a multi business complex and don't own the garage, but they did everything in their power to get it fixed and were beyond helpful in getting me in. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you comfortable, faulty garages or otherwise! read more

Giving Spa Sydell gift certificates is something I normally do for my friends at the Buckhead location. The customer service I receive from Niki is always outstanding and she makes it easy and effortless. Niki is professional, patient and kind; she gives World Class Service. Thank you for all you do. read more

This is not your grandma's spa sydell! SPA SYDELL has new owners and I absolutely love their Buckhead spa. I have been to Perimeter , it's also nice, but I prefer Buckhead. I love their Hydrafacial. I go to Lauren , she's exceptional. I also go to their steam room each visit before the facial. I spend an extra 10 minutes or so just winding down in the quiet room, complete with Lemon Water or hot tea to choose from. Highly recommend! Treat yourself read more

For being so popular and well known, I expected a much better experience than I received. The day started by Spa Sydell calling me and asking if they can move my appointment up 1.5 hours.. no problem. When I get in I was greeted quickly and rushed into the waiting room and told to wait. No tour of the facility, no complimentary drinks, I wasn't even shown where the showers were. I've been to many spas so this was very odd and unprofessional to me. I had multiple bags with me and was not even offered a locker to put them in.. when my massage therapist came to get me out of the waiting room 30 minutes later I let him know how I was rushed into the waiting room and I prefer to take a shower before my service so he showed me to the locker room and patiently waited 15 minutes until I was done freshening up. The massage was good except for the tech stopped 2 or 3 times to talk to me which was the opposite of relaxation. Overall, I will not be going back. read more

Dishonest when it comes to price. It use to be my favorite spot. Ask all the questions before moving forward. After all the procedures have been done there's no point having a conversation about money. read more

Spa Sydell is an Atlanta classic. I have been coming to Spa Sydell for 16+ years and even received my first ever facial here--the teen clean. Beautiful amenities and wonderful services. I wish the locations closer to me were still open but I would certainly make the trip to Buckhead for more treatments. read more

Went here for a consultation with Whitney. My consult was great. She informed me of the pros and cons of the procedure I wanted as well as made some recommendations for me. While there she also informed me of another procedure I heard about and, she quoted me a price and I decided to move forward with the procedure. Later when it was time to check out the women at the register quoted me a different price. It wasn't drastically different however, I HATE price discrepancies. I told her that wasn't the price I was quoted, but of course I paid because I didn't want to make a scene and having people judge me that wasn't cool at all...I feel like I my visit was a total waste of money. read more

Yelp flagged the review I wrote a few weeks ago, and I'm not sure why. Today, I received an email from Yelp that said, ''We're reaching out to let you know that our moderators removed the review you posted to Spa Sydell because it didn't look like your content depicted an experience at this location." I received services at Spa Sydell in Buckhead, 3005 Peachtree Rd NE. I bought a Groupon with a reduced price for 20 units of Botox. The Medical Director tried to upsell hard more Botox than I purchased, and told me 20 units would not be "therapeutic" enough -- what?? He seemed annoyed that I would not purchase more. I felt looked down on because I had purchased a Groupon. The front desk staff was ok, not very warm, and mentioned the Groupon multiple times during check-in. Why would they offer a Groupon, if they didn't need the business? I won't be going back. Very disappointing. read more

This was my 1st time in this location. The place was nice. I had a massage with Marc. While he didn't ask if there was a specific area that I wanted to focus on, the massage was great, especially since it had been a while since I'd had one. I was disappointed that I had a gift certificate meant to cover the massage and tip yet they wouldn't allow the gift certificate to be used for the tip - it had to be cash or credit card. So now I have to go back to use the remainder $25. It just feels like a way to get more money out of their customers. read more

This was my first ever spa experience in Atlanta and I must say it was very relaxing. However, I must say Manuel is an excellent therapist she was gentle, kind, and fabulous. She knows how to help a client to have a stress free and relaxing experience. She did my body polish and after the treatment, my skin feels soft and shining. :) On the other hand, my spa treatment was not as good as the polish treatment. I would suggest the management to do small changes and that can give a better experience to clients. Would love to visit soon! read more

I made an appointment with Spa Sydell Buckhead for a facial and a massage. My facial was performed by Sun and my massage by Marc. On a scale of 1 to 10 they each receive a 10 +. The service and the professionalism of the staff was so appreciated especially in a time where it appears customer service is nonexistent. Treat yourself to an amazing experience and book a spa day my experience was exactly what I needed. I actually enrolled in a membership also because I deserve the the service that was provided to me, I appreciate the staff and how they made me feel, I can't wait until my next visit read more

Awesome Service! This place will be recommended to all of my friends and family. I just had the best facial ever! My person was excellent. She made the time to make sure I was very comfortable. The service was great! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Stephanie has truly transformed my skin. I have been seeing Stephanie since October of 2022. She has been the only reason why I have clear skin. I started getting HydraFacials with her monthly as well as microneedling and using the hollywood laser during our treatments. She put me on one of the best skincare routines that has help me keep up with clear beautiful skin. I also started getting cool sculpting done with her and loving my results I owe her my life!! read more

Anthony did a wonderful job working out knots in my calves. Such a nice massage. Comfortable sitting area, but not really a "chill all day" kind of setup. Great for a service. read more

Well, I.have. to say to say that I have truly never experienced anything like my massage with Anthony!!!! I recently turned forty years and decided to treat myself. I am on the bigger side and not to comfortable being in front of anyone without being fully dressed, but when I tell you that Anthony was such a professional and a gentleman that my insecurities melted away immediately! But, once those "MAGIC HANDS" started to work...I was honestly in another relm! CALGON who??? Anthony took me away!!! I guess that I'm showing my age now...lol! Thanks to my experience with Anthony, I am now a faithful member of Spa Sydell Buckhead.... my serenity! I did a mini photo shoot for the 40th! read more

Had the privilege of going to Spa Sydell Buckhead this weekend with some girlfriends for a little R&R! The new Spa Sydell is under the new Modera apartment complex in Buckhead right next to the Shop of Buckhead! Parking was super easy thanks to the Valet. The spa is decorated beautifully! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the receptionist and Mrs. Julie. Both ladies were extremely nice, got us checked in quickly and ushered us right back to the women's changing room and waiting area. We each got the 60 minute massage. The massage therapist were great. My massage therapist was Shantell (I believe). Shantell asked me if there were any certain areas I would like her to focus on and I told her my legs had been bothering me. She spent extra time working on my calf muscles and feet. It was amazing! Thanks again for making our day so wonderful! read more

My husband and I both enjoyed a 90 minute massage recently for our wedding anniversary. We actually booked two separate rooms and both had amazing experiences. I had Grecco and he was phenomenal! He continuously asked for feedback on his pressure and if he could focus on any of my other problem areas. We had some time to enjoy the large steam room before we had to end our afternoon there. Also, Abby (or Ally?) at the front desk was so sweet and helpful when we went to check out. Overall a great experience and I'll definitely come back. read more

Great experience with Bridget! Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful! Definitely will be back!!!

I had an awesome experience at Spa Sydell located in Buckhead! Anthony was my masseuse and I must say he was very good and knowledgeable. He has helped me with my breathing & showed me some stretch routines. I can't wait to go back in three weeks! read more

Dr. Adam is an amazing physician! She takes time to listen to your aesthetic goals and works meticulously to address all concerns! She did my Botox for me and is hands down one of the best injectors I have ever been to! read more

It had been a while since I had visited Spa Sydell, and wasn't sure I would find it as good as I recalled that it was at its previous location. I suffer from sciatica, and have steady, constant lower back pain. I signed up for a deep tissue massage, and finally was able to book it with Anthony. I'm so glad I did. After the hour in expert hands, my back pain was gone! Now, I see why it is so difficult to get booked with Anthony. I will go back, and I recommend Spa Sydell for anyone looking to feel a whole lot better after an hour of a refreshing massage. read more

Had a Swedish Massage from Will and it was absolutely amazing!!! The spa is so nice...definitely highly recommend!

If you are thinking about going here, think again. Was only my second time at a spa in my life, and they didn't do much to make you feel comfortable. Felt rushed while there, totally not the feeling when you go to a spa! I had signed up for two services, body polish and mini facial and I actually would not pay for either one again. The body polish says it lasts for an hour - that is if you take a 45 minute shower! They rub an exfoliating cream on you, then tell you to go take a shower, then rub lotion on. And by the way, was chastised to make sure I would get it all off, as she would not be happy to put the moisturizer on if there were any remnants of the exfoliating cream left. Ah, ok?? That is it. Really? for $80.00???? I could have done that myself for $5.95!! The mini facial was ok, but the whole time was trying to up-sell the other treatments you could get. I asked to get my eyebrows waxed and was basically made to feel bad as to the condition they were in...well that is why I asked you to do them. Right? Why would I get them done if they didn't need it? Very unprofessional! The more I think about it the more upset I get. I will never go here again. read more

This place was beautiful and accommodating and quite peaceful....until my facial started. The technician was quote thorough amd did a great job but the point if a spa appointment is PEACE...SHE WOULD NOT SHUT UP. read more

I have frequented Spa Sydell for many years, however haven't been as often over the last couple of years because they closed many of their locations. Today, I went for a massage and facial at the new location in Buckhead for my birthday. When I made the appointment I asked if they had a robe larger enough for a big woman and they assured me yes. When I arrived there was no one to greet me and it took a few minutes before someone came to the front desk. Once they took me back I was given a robe that was clearly too small and asked for a larger one. The greeter came back with a men's robe that was longer, but not wider. I was very put off by this because I specifically asked if they could accommodate me. Now I had to stay dressed and change in the service room and couldn't enjoy the steam room. Facial was great and massage was just okay. Too much pressure for a Swedish massage even after mentioning this several times. The overall experience was very uncomfortable and not enjoyable. I wanted to feel relaxed and I didn't from the initial experience. I feel like I wasted $200 and should have gone to Jeju for a much better experience. In this day and age I can't believe Spa Sydell only has robes up to an XL. Then when I told the lady at checkout she said she thinks they have one 3x ...well they should have searched for it seeing that I needed it. They claim that they will order some, however they've said this before. No offer of a discount for the inconvenience even with it being my birthday. I won't rush back and don't recommend this place for the service and accommodations received. Also, bathroom garbage can stayed full from the start of my service to the end. No one around cleaning up the ladies locker room. read more

My husband and I enjoyed our couples' 90 minute massage during our Valentine's Day weekend get-away! The staff is always friendly and very professional. Mrs. Ann at the reception desk is especially kind and accommodating! She always greets us with a welcoming smile and a cheerful attitude! Her friendliness makes our visits that much more special! We enjoy our visits to Spa Sydell and look forward to returning soon. read more

I've been going to Spa Sydell for years now and am so happy that they have a more convenient location to where I live! I first met Melissa a year ago when I was looking for a better solution for my uneven skin tone and break outs. She helped me decide on the best facials to achieve my goals - and walked me through all of my options keeping my goals, budget and frequency of treatments in mind. I just went in for my second Erbium laser treatment (my last was a year ago) and I could not be happier! The healing process is basically unnoticeable and I no longer need to wear make up at all. My skin has never looked better, I definitely recommend reaching out to Melissa! read more

This spa is amazing, I walked out of there feeling like a million dollars, it literally felt like I was walking on air that's how awesome I felt. When I got there with my sister and daughter we were greeted by the receptionist Ms Ann who of course is so sweet and extremely professional. She coordinated our services and made sure everything was right. Ms Ann provided top notch service, she is now my go to gal for all my Spa Sydell services. Now for my technicians my massager Tyree extremely professional and kind, very soft spoken and caring also mindful of the fact that I was married and never had a male massage me before. I felt comfortable and assured. Now my facial and body scrub tech even more amazing, Ms Kalina so beautiful kind and extremely professional she did an awesome job with the body scrub and gave me thee most delicate and luxurious facial thanks again Kalina. Overall I enjoyed my services and my time there it was the perfect start on my Birthday Morning. Kudos to making my Atl Birthday getaway weekend something I will never forget.
