DO NOT PURCHASE OF GROUPON - Scam…read more I purchased this through Groupon and set the appointment up with some lady via text. (Professional) 1. She was extremely rude regarding my schedule - since I cannot come during the day as I do not have care for my smaller child. (SAHM who's husband works construction and is currently running 3 different jobs so he is a busy man) 2. Day of appointment my husband could not leave his job (waiting on the inspector) and as soon as I spoke to whoever that lady was (I'm assuming Kimberly? Idk) she instantly had an attitude even though I was INSTANTLY super apologetic? Because I understand how crappy that is but I also cannot help how busy my husband is (don't you think I want him home?!) Don't waste your time. She is rude and disrespectful. Her energy is draining, thank God she didn't touch my face.

Five minutes into my treatment, I was completely relaxed. I walked away with plumper-looking skin and more of a lift around my eyebrows... as well as recommendations for my skin routine at home. I felt so confident I didn't even wear makeup to work later that day! ***It's also worth mentioning that I missed my first appointment because I couldn't find the building. Laura was happy to reschedule, and at no extra cost. Can't wait to book my next service!

When I checked out, she claimed that it was a misunderstanding & charged me $250 ($125 for each of us). I was thoroughly disappointed and saddened to be cheated. However, the massage, facial and foot scrub was very relaxing but I will not return. I do not honor & support liars or thieves.

She answers saying "hello" and didn't even specify that I was calling a business. I asked "is this about you day spa in north park or do I have a wrong number" and she replied "ya". Rude and short- and still didn't clarify anything. I said "so this is the spa" she said "ya". I said " I was hoping I could make an appointment I saw that you have a groupon" she replied "ya". So I said " you know what never mind you're not helpful at all and your just rude." I cannot believe the lack of customer service. If you're going to assign someone the job of answering the phone then make sure they are personable because you have not only lost valuable business but you've earned yourself an awful review. By putting out a groupon I would guess that you are trying to generate buzz about your company or drive business- you've definitely generated buzz but not in a good sense whatsoever. We have now spent over 300 dollars at another spa to pamper ourselves today. Sorry for your loss. I hope that whoever manages this business will take action to prevent this from happening to future clients or potential clients.

So i spent time reshowing her video of exactlt how i want the length part and style. It's now 5pm still in back and she's overbooked had to wait about an hour and half for her to do a color wash blow dry and press while her assistant sat and ate so I asked when are we continuing with my appointment that i have work at 4am and its now 7:45 she had me wait until 8:30 for her to start my hair again. angelas_beauty_palace starts eating a tuna sandwich WHILE doing my hair so i had moved my head i can see in the mirror her not whipe the food off her hands and she snatches my head back i said dont snatch me. The spa entrance is very dark and has a weird smell to it. Does not feel like I am at a spa but a used office space that some did not care about decoration for her business. The treatment was in a darker room than the front entrance. No calming music The appointment I had was for 4:00 Pm and she was 20 minutes late to start. The treatment was lame and did not have the machine for the Microdermabrasion but a handled unit you buy for your home. Then she tries the upsell which I am not interested in. Then she's like I can do the Groupon price but only on cash! If you Uy a Groupon do your homework and look at the reviews. I would recommend you try another location.

I've been doing laser facials for a while and and don't see a lot of progress from Skin Laundry. I decided to buy her moisturizer and I did upgrade my Groupon. A lot of people complain about that, but I feel like Groupon's always do that with every provider . She's busy enough that I think she shouldn't offer Groupon. It seems to be her chief complaint among Clients..

I went to Body Alchemy and saw Kimberly for my VERY FIRST facial…read more The spa is very calming and serene. I felt immediately as if I had stepped foot away from the day-to-day in SD and might as well have been in some exotic vacation spot in the Caribbean or Mexico. I'm a regular at spas for massages, and Kimberly is a true professional that knows her craft. She was communicative with me the entire time on what she was doing and what to expect (with the facial). The owner, Kimberly is great and gave me one of the best facials that i've ever received. The biggest win for me was that she turned me on to this product called PCA skin and I've gotta tell you, it is the best thing that I have ever used. I don't have bad skin but I get occasional break outs. Ever since I started using PCA Skin, my skin has never been healthier. I use the daily cleanser, the scrub, the SPF 25 moisturizer and an acne break out serum for those pesty little zits that show their ugly faces at the most inopportune time. I've since turned my sisters and many friends on to using the product and they also agree. Forget ProActive..this is so much better. Overall, Kimberly is a very knowledgeable esthetician and I'm glad I found her. I actually have one that I see regularly but Kimberly is my back up when Denise is not available. This review says that she's located in Encinitas (which is her 2nd office) but she also has a store front in Solana Beach on Cedros, 312 S Cedros Ave, Solana Beach, CA 92075. 858-345-1661. P.S. Ok this was the most amazing waxing experience I've ever had. I've been getting Brazilians done for…read more4 years now in the general San Diego area and have never stuck to one place because I overall am dissatisfied. FINALLY I've found someone who knows what they're doing! 1) Call her and see what best fits with both of your schedules! She's very flexible with her schedule so it helps soooo much, especially someone like me who never has time to go into most businesses during their business hours 2) SHE HAS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE SO SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING! I am probably every esthetician's worst nightmare: coarse hair and loose skin. It's hard for most estheticians to wax my hair. She knows skin, she knows hair, and more importantly SHE KNOWS WAX. Lots of hair getting ripped off in one go, rather than most people who don't have the same experience/knowledge and have to re-wax my hair OVER AND OVER. 3) she knows her products. Even though I didn't buy any of the ingrown hair stuff, she suggested a good brand for my condition. She wasn't pushy at all like other places that need to make profit. She just suggested it and told me to look into it if I was interested. 4) she offers more services! She honestly knows skin so well, I'm kinda tempted to try getting a facial done with her. Her skin is really smooth and just one look at my face and she had different recommendations for what would work best. 5) And most importantly: she's such a nice person and helps ease the pain of waxing. Nothing worse than getting your hair pulled out in complete silence or with someone who cant hold a conversation. We talked about everything and anything! I honestly would say her friendliness and her knowledge is what immediately motivated me to book another appointment for the future. This is perhaps the first time I was eager to see an esthetician again. Overall 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!
