I came here for a facial to relax before my finals week and unfortunately left with cuts and marks on my face. Linda did my facial, she was highly reviewed on the website and said she had many years of experience. Some of the tools she used left open cuts and scabs on my face above my lips and on my nose. The tools she used were very abbrasive and painful but I thought maybe thats what needed to happen for an extraction. I came home that night to find these cuts on my face and worse yet the blackhead I wanted out was still there she never even extracted it. I called to complain and they said she would have Linda get back to me but its been 3 days and no word. I spent $120 + a nice tip for this and the service left me with potential scars as my face is prone to dark spots. On top of that customer service and client support is not there. Nina was great, I came in for their $12 haircut specials. She was so sweet, easy to talk to, great conversation and talked about all of the services she personally offers, tattooing, permanent make up, hair cuts, hair specialties etc. This girl is the jack of all trades. I told her what I wanted, no fuss at all, she gave her recommendations and went to work. I loved how my hair turned out. I honestly wish I took a before pic. She gave me a tour of the place and they offer so many other services, facials, massages, lash extensions, waxing, permanent make up, haircuts, hair and scalp treatment's, the list truly goes on. We also had a fantastic conversation which made the time fly by. Just finished a facial. Treatment felt good, but it felt short. Not till I got home did I really think about it carefully and reviewed my appointment to make sure I didn't book the wrong thing. When I booked I debated between the Signature (30 minutes) and the Deluxe (45 minute) Hydrafacial. It's a $51 difference between the two. I chose the deluxe and added on a 10 minute addition for my neck. My appointment was 10:25. I arrived at 10:20 and spent some time filling out the intake form and then getting undressed and under the covers. The facial was done at 11:05, and I am now home at 11:17. Not entirely happy I paid $300+tax and tip for this. read more

Getting my lashes done was the best beauty decision I have ever made. I got my lashes done by the beautiful Amanda because her lashes are amazing! I spent months defending her lashes saying they were hers only to be fooled! She made me so comfortable by giving me a blanket and a neck pillow. She took her time and was very professional. Originally when I heard it was going to take 2-3 hours I was taken aback, but after seeing the finished product, I see why! They were so full, natural and flawless. I received so many compliments and they survived New York City wind. Lol Let's be real, adding mascara is what takes me the longest in the morning and the fact that I can sleep in a little longer and I have one less thing to worry about is a plus and on the days I don't wear makeup, I don't look dead because my lashes are on point!!!!! I was looking last minute to get a facial. I found this place by chance on Yelp and booked my appoint online early in the morning. I was so shocked and so grateful that they were able to confirm my appointment so last minute. Lynda who is also the owner did my facial and it was such an amazing experience. I've had facials done before but no one has ever been this informative. Just from one look at my skin she could tell what I needed and what my skin problems where. I had booked a different type of facial and she offered to do the hydra facial instead for better results and based off my skins needs. I am so happy I did. In such a short time she was able to get rid of all my inflammation as well as texture buildup. I had stubborn bumps on my cheeks and chin from hormonal acne that had went down greatly by the end of our session. My mom and I went to here a few days ago to get a 2 hour facial and massage service. The ambiance was nice and relaxing but the massage was just kind of mediocre. She asked what spots for focus on and then almost completely ignored my response as if she just has a cookie cutter way of doing her massages. Well THIS is my secret, Paige at Spa Piel is my secret weapon. I met Paige this year when my lash gal retired. Paige has become not only my lash girl, but my skin gal too. She is an aesthetician and a good one, but my lashes WOW. She does an amazing job and has THE most comfortable chair to sit in. No more lying on a massage table. This chair is so comfortable I have to fight falling asleep in it. Two notes: If you want to come here, I strongly suggest making an appointment. It's a small salon and not always manned AND bring quarters. The only parking for a few blocks is metered and the meter maid here is ON IT. So bring your quarters and have a great time at this spa. My mom went to Spa Piel for a manicure and pedicure on the 5th of July. I realize that this place specializes in eyelashes, but they do advertise manicures and pedicures. She had such an awful experience with this spa. They were not friendly to her when she arrived, they did her pedicure in a bucket, they did not soak her nails to soften the cuticle beds. It was just all around terrible service. I cannot speak to their work on eyelashes- but if you are going to advertise you do other services you should probably make sure you have the correct equipment to provide said services. read more

I've been coming to this spa for a couple of months now. Sierra does my lashes, and she has been so wonderful! She is very detail oriented. Sierra goes above and beyond and really pours her heart into making sure you walk away with perfectly, beautiful lashes. I have really little inner corner natural lashes, so it can sometimes be quite the job to get lashes on those little bastards, but she pulls it off and I'm so grateful for that. I was hoping to get a wonderful facial here after reading all of the five star reviews. Unfortunately, my esthetician was inexperienced and in my opinion needed more training. I booked an 80 minute LUXURY Facial because I wanted to relax and treat myself. I get a lot of facials and this was the first one that did NOT include: a face steamer, eye makeup removal, examination of my skin under a light/magnifier, extractions, product/treatment on lips, décolletage, arms, hands. Definitely not a luxury service and not worth $125. To top it off, I received a less than 80 minute service and had to wipe my face of eye makeup before I left. I'm giving two stars instead of one because the gentleman at the front desk did discount my service upon my request since I did not receive a full 80 minute service. I did call the spa (left a voicemail) after I returned to home to give them feedback directly (instead of writing this review), but they never returned my call. read more
