My 2 daughters and I booked a massage here recently. We all enjoyed our actual massages but when you pay the hefty price and don't have a spa experience, it can be disappointing. After checking in, you wait by the pool. There is no area to get dressed and no robe to wait in! After the massage, you put your clothes back on when you get off of the table, even if you had oils during the massage. Disappointed that I had to go to the pool bathroom to fix my hair! As long as you know this ahead of time, it's probably okay. For the price, it's not that great of a spa afternoon experience with friends or family members. Just a massage and that's it, you are done and back at the pool to sit in your regular clothes if you are not a guest at the hotel! read more

In town for our anniversary and decided last minute to book a massage, even though we aren't staying at the hotel. Everyone was super gracious. BEST. DECISION. EVER. First of all the hotel Ambiance is so gorgeous and classy. You get complimentary valet with your service and an invite to hang by the pool before and after your service. It's different from most spas, as it has no relaxation room, but when the beautiful poolside, it's totally great! Whitney was amazing! After seeing what poor condition my body was in with stress and knots, we upgraded to a deep tissue massage! No regrets! You've got to be able to take a little pain but she worked them all out and now I feel so much relief!! It's been a long while since I've been so satisfied with a massage! ASK FOR WHITNEY! Wanted to try it based on being in Rosemary many times and the hotel looks nice from outside. Restaurant was good (not great) so I thought I'd try a massage! Overpriced for what it is. No changing area/relaxation room/showers/locker room. Not even a place to freshen up or put on makeup after. No robes. Just a set of massage rooms by the pool and another place to check in- perhaps a facial room in there? Was told I could go to the pool area bathroom to freshen up after. No thanks... Massage was decent. You wait by the pool until you are called. Wouldn't come back. Masseuse was nice and professional. Not her fault amenities are insanely lacking. read more

Very very overpriced. Services were fine, but prices are outrageous. We had a couples sugar scrub and massages and for the price, we could have stayed 3 more nights in our condo. And yes.. They were listed that way on the website, hubby booked as a surprise for our anniversary but was unaware that the prices were "per person"... His fault, not the Pearl's. Had a couple's massage booked ahead of time for me and my partner's vacation. The massage itself was great. However, the experience itself left a lot to be desired and was not was not what I was expecting at all. You check in at a front desk and are told to wait by the pool area for your service time. There's no changing room or locker room, no robes, and no waiting area. It's pretty much, 'chill by the pool and we'll call you when we're ready'. I expected so much better considering the location AND the hefty price tag. Also, I got booked TWICE for the service when I left and it was pain to get my refund for the second charge. According to the front desk associate it happens often?? Absolutely nuts to me in how unprofessional and unorganized that is. If you're looking for a full spa experience, I recommend booking elsewhere. read more

My husband and I loved our couples massage we had here recently! The massage therapist who worked with me paid great attention to my painful shoulder just as I requested. When we hung out at the pool afterward, both our therapists swung by to make sure we stayed hydrated with lemon water & cucumber water. If you get a massage, you MUST go see Nate! I've had many massages from spas across the country and Nate continues to be the best massage I've ever received. I'm very athletic and he works into my body exactly where it needs it (even when I don't know it needs it!) Because of the high quality of his skill, I see him frequently. He has the ability to read bodies like a book and deeply understands where the true root of the stiffness lies. Not only that but he truly loves his craft and it shines in his work. Our daughter went to the Pearl for a manicure this week & I was shocked to learn the nail technician wore NO mask and there was no "acrylic sneeze screen" between them while sitting less than 3 feet apart. Very disappointed in this dangerous practice! read more

Had several hours to kill while my husband golfed at Santa Rosa Golf Club, so I ventured down to Rosemary beach and The Pearl Spa worked me in for a 50 minute massage that same day. I had an AMAZING "Pearl Perfection" massage from Marc and was delighted that I had access to the beautiful adult-only pool and cabana area. The hotel is absolutely charming, the facilities are exquisite, and the pool/beach access made for a lovely afternoon, not to mention the fabulous cocktails I enjoyed by the pool during happy hour! Definitely hope to visit The Pearl again soon! read more

What an awful experience my daughter and her mom had at Pearl Spa. Poor service, poor manicure (if that's what one would call it). Basically a nail polish change by someone who didn't want to do it or even be there. The atmosphere was hot, no water offered, just a miserable experience for $130 plus gratuity added to the bill. Booked with The Pearl for my wife and I's anniversary. I booked the (Mother's) Swedish for her (because she is pregnant, and they knew this) and The Pearl Perfection for me. The spa's office/waiting area is quite small, and somewhat congested because the travel path to the nail salon runs between the seating area and the office front desk. To help prevent some congestion, they will allow you to lounge by the boisterous hotel pool, right outside. The massage rooms face the pool and are tented with curtains that can be drawn. Ok, so the Swedish massage was $110 and The Pearl Perfection was $115. I booked with the understanding that this would be a massage for my wife and I, in the same room. Initially, they guided us to separate rooms, but when I mentioned we were supposed to be together, they promptly prepared a room to accommodate. Once finished, we left the room back to the office. They brought us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne (I thought maybe this was because it was our anniversary and they were just being nice, but later find out this was part of the couples massage, but I was not informed of this up front). So, they brought my first trimester pregnant wife, champagne. The couples massage, evidently, is $150 a piece. Serious? We only took up one room, even if we took two rooms, we still need two masseuses , so why it costs more to be in the same room, I'm not sure. So that leads me to believe they are charging us $40 for the strawberries and champagne (which my pregnant wife cannot drink). Also, just a polish change is $25, no cut, no buff, etc. And, 20% gratuity is implied to be the minimum. So BEWARE! Everything considered, the massage was really good. Ms. Whitney did well for my wife, Ms. Ashton did very well for me. But the overall experience was not what I desired, especially as an anniversary experience. read more

Great experience --the perfect combination of friendliness, hospitality and luxury. I spent half a day at the spa with my mother and sister and everything was completely delightful. Becky was an extraordinary nail technician--I've had many pedicures but this was hands down the best. Facial treatments were beautifully administered by Daphne with a light neck/ shoulder and hand massage while the various applications did their work. Afterward we were glowing! I brought makeup but we looked so good we took Facebook pictures without even lipstick! The spa/pool area is small but extraordinarily beautiful and well attended by thoughtful staff. We didn't eat a meal there, but had light snacks that were delicious. I'm coming back with my husband--thanks for a relaxing, uplifting and memorable experience! read more

Not impressed with this spa. Didn't realize that there are no locker rooms (robes, slippers, toiletries, ambiance...) or showers for after your treatment. If you want to shower make sure to book (and pay for) additional time in the treatment room - because showers are only available in the treatment rooms. The price for the treatment was the same as other spas that do include all the "extras" - it was ok just not what I was hoping for for the price. read more

I love everything about Rosemary Beach and have stayed at the Pearl several times. It is such an awesome hotel!! I'm sad to say that the spa at the Pearl is not so great. I got married in Rosemary back in May and wanted to get have relaxing massages with my mom and sister before the big day. I originally made our appointments at the other spa in Rosemary across 30A. When I found out that the Pearl was about the same price, I decided to move the reservation to the spa at the Pearl. The spa is nice, they upgraded and do now have actual doors on their treatment rooms rather than curtains which means there is AC. My massage therapist was what was wrong with the whole thing. It was literally one of the worst massages I've ever had. It was like I was putting her out. She talked to entire time and cut the massage short by 10 minutes. My mom and sister went back before me and I was done a good 5 minutes before them. It was a complete waste of money. read more

Went to the spa for a girls spa day and had the most bizarre uncomfortable experience I've ever had. The therapist continued to pause during the entire 55 minute service. Obviously I couldn't see what he was doing but as soon as he was done and I returned home I called the manager who offered a gift card to return but didn't bother to look into the situation. disturbed by the entire situation! For such a high-end hotel, I was a bit disappointed in the spa "experience." The staff was very nice and accommodating, but the facilities are a bit lacking. The massage room was a small poolside room without sound-proofing or heat. I was freezing the entire time. The massage therapist did an amazing job on my back where I had pointed out some issues, but for an 80 minute full-body massage, he only spent 2mins on each thigh, the largest muscle group in the body (because the time spent on one side was so short, I counted with the next thigh: 109 seconds). He even commented on how I needed to stretch more with exercise while he was working on my thighs so I just assumed he must be coming back to them, but then he went back to my feet and spent about 10 more minutes on each foot and all of the sudden the massage was at the end. To top it off, The 20% gratuity was included for a grand total of $200. The only places I have spent this much before had saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools where you could make the spa experience more complete should you choose, but nothing like this was offered here: $200 for a cold massage.
