And then hair dye was left on the back of my neck area, where she did not wash or rinse it, had to go home and wash it out. Why did I just pay $200 to someone, only to have to go home and wash it? I told my stylist, and she did not want to fix it, but was ready to get me in for more highlights at another charge. this is highly unprofessional and would strongly not recommend this stylist to anyone.

Instead, I was met with confusion and a complete refusal to do the service I had already booked. The technician at the desk claimed they couldn't help me because they didnt have the "Time" -- as if that somehow excuses denying a paying customer the service they requested. I wasn't asking for a full set or anything complicated, just two simple fixes. But instead of honoring the appointment or even offering a reasonable explanation, I was basically brushed off. Oh and i hear the Boss was out of town.. What kind of business can't function just because one person is away? That screams poor management and lack of training. If your staff can't handle basic repairs without a supervisor present, maybe you shouldn't be taking appointments at all. I wasted my time coming in, and the indifference I was met with made it clear they don't value their clients. I've been to many salons over the years, and I've never had such a ridiculous experience. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that's actually organized, professional, and willing to stand behind their work -- even when the boss is out of town.

My sister wanted to go here before her wedding. I made an appointment and we were about 5-10 minutes after our appointment time due to wedding craziness. We came in, and the man repeatedly told us "we are killing him" and we've messed up his whole day. He said he won't have time to see us. They were not busy and there is a sign for walk in welcome, so I wasn't sure what the big deal was. He was so rude I ended up canceling my pedicure and just got a gel manicure instead. He made it a huge deal about how we inconvenienced him. The lady who finally did my nails after waiting an hour was nice, but did not do a good job. Gel polish on was on my skin and nails, and charged me $45. This business is overpriced, rude, and if I visit in Montrose again, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
