She is incredibly knowledgeable about working with people going through or recovering from cancer treatments, and you can tell she approaches her work with both skill and heart. I left feeling relaxed, supported, and honestly a little lighter -- both physically and emotionally. If you're navigating cancer treatment or recovery and looking for someone who truly understands oncology massage, I cannot recommend Kari enough. Belmar is lucky to have her. I ate dinner near by, had some neck and back soreness so booked a massage. I have had 100's of…read moremassages and this ranks up there with the worst massage ever. It was more like an attack than a massage. I felt more beat up than soothed. The movements were harsh and too fast. I was uncomfortable the whole massage. There was absolutely nothing relaxing about it. The pain is no better either. This person needs a complete retraining. Maybe this place is only good for foot massage and not body. No chance I will come back and I would recommend passing up on this place. My recommendation is to have the person who trains have the staff massage them so they can see where improvement is needed. Typically when I get bad service I do not post it but this was that bad I needed to warn others.
