I did the 90 min deep tissue with the 30 min hot stone foot after. foot massage was in middle no hot stone. and the guy pulled my underwear down till my ass was showing and put his hands through the bottom of my period underwear and at out the top. the lady tried to gaslight me and said will if you chose to completely undress. I didn't. hense period underwear. have never been uncomfortable with a male. and I got maybe 3 mins of deep tissue in the form of elbows and that's pretty much it besides freezing and fondled. read more

I was visiting New York and New Jersey for the week and two of my girlfriends were going to this massage place in Jersey down towards the way by the Jersey Shore. I decide to go with them and check it out and get a massage myself since I get them often. I added the Hot Stone and a Peppermint Scalp Treatment. Let's first start off by the fact that the scalp treatment put me to sleep, which is incredibly helpful to my relaxation. I woke up to the delicious peppermint aroma and was ready to turn over for the massage and Hot Stones. Very happy with the different sizes of stones and the technique used; I can tell the massage therapist is trained in Hot Stone Therapy since she really knew how to get under deep into the muscles. The temperature of the stones was also just the right heat. What I love most about the overall massage experience for myself was that my body actually looks and feels as it should when you get a high quality, highly trained professional. My daughter and I had great massages at the same time as it was a birthday treat for her. I had Johnnie and he was fantastic with a deep tissue that helped with all my aches and pains (training for a marathon and just had a 3 hour car ride to visit my daughter). The place is very clean, the ambiance is perfect for a parlor and the therapists were excellent. My daughter said her therapist found all the knots in her neck. Johnnie was very skilled and had the right amount of firmness needed to unloosen my knots. As previous reviews noted, they give you your full hour for the massage! If I lived in Tom's River I would go here frequently but since my daughter lives here we will both be back. She will also remember to frequent this place too. read more

Happy with my massage. I like that they give the full 60 minutes of massage unlike other places that only give you 50 minutes ( plus 10 min dress/undress time). Doesn't look like much from the outside, or even the lobby, but the massage rooms were roomy and have individual heaters in each room. They seem to have a lot of specials running all the time. A massage was LONG overdue but i was hesitant because i haven't really been able to find a good haircut but I took a chance and it paid off. I love a good Massage. 99% of it is the expertise (you hope) of the person giving you the massage and 1% is where I'm having it. Now, if I was at the Borgata or Water Club, the ratio changes because I'm paying extra for where I'm having it and I"ve never had a bad massage there. This is my 2nd time at Massage Haven which was originally called Body, Mind and Spa I believe but it's the same location. The outside is non descript but the inside is clean and pleasant with light airy music playing. I worked with Lisa last time and she is very good and attentive to finding out what hurts and would focus on it. They aren't in a rush to get you out so a sixty minute massage means just that plus a few minutes if needed. This time around I worked with Johnny Adams who is the owner. As I'm talking to Johnny, he reads my name off the patient sheet and goes I know you. How (I didn't put two and two together at the moment)? You used to date my aunt. Well, that was 20 years ago just before I met Deb and this guy has some memory because I only meet him a few times. But he was a nice guy back then and more then nice this time around. Turns out he is the owner and also owns the school for massage next door. He is also an Expert at what he does. If you are thinking of getting a licence for this type of work (and it's hard, I'm sure), Mr. Adams school is probably the place to start. Johnny did a 100% perfect job finding my aches and pains and trying to remove them. He found a ton of knots and sore muscles. I sit most of the day for work or I'm lifting heavy boxes and printers and he worked from head to toe finding what hurt. I left feeling better at what I'd consider a fair price for the service (I know what it cost in Ocean County), and from the moment I walked in the door to when I left, I was treated as a VIP for his business and this was before he knew it was me. Even went over by a few minutes and it was no big deal. I have been here three times now in the past two months and had great experiences every time.
