This restaurant is inside Gran Porto Restaurant, and is part of their all-inclusive package. Royal hotel guests across the street get access to this as well.
While the restaurant itself lacks fancy decor, the wait staff is friendly and I loved seeing the rotisseries in plain sight, with juicy meats dripping over a grill.
In real rodizio style, it's all you can eat, staff coming around with large skewers of meat until you turn your sticker red, telling them that you're done eating.
Service is pretty slow as everything is slowly cooking in ovens, grills, and mostly, in a rotisserie. And don't expect rib eye or filet mignon. We got pork loin, ovened pork ribs, the most tender chicken breast, chicken leg, 2 kinds of sausage, sirloin steak, and prawns. Everything was good, surprisingly. It just came pretty slowly.
Salad bar was tiny and consisted of smoked salmon, prosciutto, fresh grilled veggies, rice, mashed potatoes, and cheeses. Their freshly baked bread is delicious too. Piping hot and pre-filled with butter. Yum.
All in all, it's worth a try if you're staying at Gran Porto. read more
