This is where I go to relieve my chronic back pain. The therapists here are excellent at identifying the pain sources and working them out. It is easy to schedule appointment and type of massage requested on line. The therapist always meets me at the door and confirms type of massage and duration. Sometimes there is a language barrier but they are patient and will use telephone translator if there is any confusion. Pricing for services is very reasonable. They accept credit cards but do collect a small surcharge passing on some of the credit card fees they are charged. You can add tip to credit card or pay in cash please do tip the therapists depend on it. This is not a fancy resort spa but the massage is as good or better than any I ever had a a resort spa for twice the money. The massage by itself isn't bad. It's very sketchy and the sheets smell funny though they are clean. They make you pay before the service. I left 20% tip by then without the service because I had no cash. When I was about to leave, the lady was asking for tip. I told her I already left. The operation is very weird. Awful service, terrible management, no one with responsibility or accountability here. My girlfriend booked a couples message to celebrate Valentine's Day a month in advanced and she called them a week prior to confirm the reservation and had no recollection of recording it. I was gifted a massage to spa chi in Prarieville for Valentine's Day it was to date the worst gift I've ever received. I am a big review person so I looked up the reviews before going to my appointment. I definitely should have listened to the bad google reviews they were and are 100% accurate. I walked in and was immediately hit with the smell of vapor rub and the place was severely outdated. No spa vibes in sight more like a bad nail shop. The lady checked me in which did not consist of being escorted to a back area to change into a robe where there would be wine, juice or food while I wait. She immediately said "go in room take everything off , leave panties on". The room had a red light no soft music or incense. Just two tables and a very, very, thing sheet that was cut in half to cover myself. The lady comes in and immediately start massaging my back dry and very hard. The massage was very painful. She literally took her elbow and dug it into my body parts. I even said ouch and squirmed in a way so she would know that it was to rough. She then told me I need to relax. I was soo glad when the 60 minutes was over ! I put my clothes on so fast and was headed out the door. The lady stopped me and said " no ! You pay me tip ! I don't get money off massage pay me tip! I then told her I don't have cash because this appointment was a gift. She said yes you have a card a saw in your purse. I was appalled at this point ....I said I don't have a tip ! I have been trying to call this establishment all day (7/28)!!! I got the couples massage on Groupon and can't find the point of contact to schedule an appointment. I already don't like this place! You have 3 different numbers on social media and none of them work!! How do you expect to get business with no point of contact!! If I have to drive 30 minute just to get my money back and tell you how unprofessional this is I will be pissed, hot and flaming when I get there. This is beyond stupid. read more

If I could give this experience a 0 out of five stars, I would. I have never had service this poor in my life. My husband and I showed up five minutes before our scheduled appointment time to be told that we could not be seen because of over booking. We stood awkwardly while the employee argued very loudly on the phone with her boss. After 15 minutes of arguing she convinced us to come back in an hour and half and that would be our new appointment time. So as aggravated as we were, we left. Mind you, we live in Gonzales and it took us 20 minutes to drive each way. We showed up for our new appointment time and they informed us that they just took a couple back that they thought was us. They then tried to reschedule the couple already naked in the massage room who we could hear protesting and arguing for a good ten minutes saying that if they left they wanted a refund. Then, the ladies came back out and tried to convince us to come back in another hour and a half. We informed them that it was unacceptable and we would not be coming back, ever. I have read reviews of people bashing establishments and I always question the validity of those. This establishment has a 4 star rating and I have zero clue how. My husband has never had a massage and this was his birthday present and not only did he not receive it, he has a horrible experience and will now have a tainted view of what is supposed to be a relaxing wonderful experience. I gave one star for one reason. The massage wasn't bad. $60 for 60minutes.....but after they tried to tell me I needed to pay $90 for a 90minute massage. But I was only there for 1 hour! And to make it worse. I was going to tip $20. They argued that most people give $40 for tip. Completely unprofessional. I will not return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone. read more
