The first time I came to Moore Beauty and had a consultation with Andrea, I really liked her and knew she was extremely talented. I went to her a couple more times and she really helped my brows out. The 3rd time I had an appointment with her, she was late so they put me with someone else who I ended up really liking. As I was checking out, Andrea was standing at the cash register and didn't say a word to me. She didn't apologize for missing the appointment or even ask how I was. I found it extremely rude and uncomfortable as she sat and stared at me while I paid for my appointment. I decided to not go back because I didn't feel like Andrea truly cared about her clients or keeping them. I was desperate so I booked an appointment a few days ago for noon today. I got a confirmation text and email yesterday afternoon. Today at 11:30am as I am getting ready to leave I receive a call that the girl I booked my appointment with isn't even working today and they're "not sure why it even let me book that appointment lol". The woman I spoke to offered no other alternatives or apologized, just simply said she would have nothing until tomorrow. I'm disappointed in how Moore Beauty treats their customers especially because I had such high hopes in the beginning. I will not be going back. read more

I have been getting my eye brows done by Evelyn for 2 years now. She is seriously AMAZING at her craft! She takes time with your brows and treats them like a canvas and she is definitely an artist. If you have THICK EYEBROWS you know how frustrating it can be when people just thin them even when you tell them to keep them thick. She is a pro at thick eyebrows because she has beautiful ones herself :) She even draws around your eyebrows to give you the perfect shape. I am going to my Mom's Surprise 60th Birthday with a unibrow, thanks to Moore. I booked a threading service days ago, received confirmation, as well as a reminder email the day before my appointment, only to arrive and find out they no longer provide threading. Is it really that difficult to a) remove the service from online booking or b) call the client to notify them that the service they are scheduling their day around, and driving across town for is, in actuality, not something they offer? Wish I could have reviewed based on my satisfaction with service, but unfortunately, I will not be returning to determine that. read more

I went here with a friend after having made appointments, they did my friend's nails and left me waiting for over an hour. They charge extra for gel removal even if you're getting gel again which is something no other place has done for me. After waiting for an hour, my friend started her pedicure and I started my pedicure 10 minutes later after they began the gel removal process. I started my pedicure 10 minutes after and ended 10 minutes before, the woman doing it seemed so rushed and didn't put in much effort. They then didn't have the gel color I had picked out and I ended up with a gross color she tried to custom make to match. The whole place seemed unprofessional as they couldn't even give me or my friend a receipt and it's set up in an actual apartment complex. We were nervous to be inside there and don't plan on going back. Everyone working was friendly enough, it was just not a good experience for nails. I don't know how the other services are. read more

First off, I'd like to thank Andrea Moore and Natasha Shultz for actually making me feel like "I woke up like this." I have really dark hair, but my eyebrows & eyelashes were so light, they were almost non existent. I had been skillfully penciling in my eyebrows & coating my lashes in mascara (they're good lashes, just no color) since I was about 12 or 13. FINALLY, (at 34) I found a solution. Natasha has done 2 sessions microblading my eyebrows. The color isn't too dark, so if I wanted to make them darker with shadow, I could. They look soooo natural & she has a very gentle touch. A great personality & conversationalist to boot! I have to say the same for Andrea. She is soooo sweet, and actually listens to what you want/need as far as your lashes are concerned. I go to her ever couple of weeks for fills, although, she does such a great job that I could probably go 3 weeks. Long story short: These ladies, Natasha Shultz & Andrea Moore have treated me like a queen. I have GREAT results, no regrets, and would recommend Moore Couture to anyone & everyone! read more

I got microblading done by Andrea but had my touchup done by Kristina. If it weren't for Kristina, I'd give this place 3 stars. I guess I just had a bad experience as everyone else on here raves about Andrea. I felt like she rushed the entire process and she seemed annoyed when I had additional questions about my brows after the procedure. The color was lighter than my actual hairs and she created a higher arch on my left brow making them uneven. Kristina seemed a lot more thorough throughout the process and made sure that the numbing medication was working before proceeding. The procedure with her was almost painless and Andrea's felt like she was almost digging into my skin (I even mentioned that I didn't think the numbing cream had enough time to soak in and she proceeded to tell me that the pain was normal). Kristina also dyed my brows after (which I believe is standard procedure from my research) so they are the same color as my actual hairs. Andrea skipped over this part so I'm not sure if she just did it a different way. I would definitely recommend Kristina! read more

I brought my Aunt Stephanie here when her eyebrows were thinning and beginning to look fake when penciling them in. She was incredibly nervous about getting something permanent done. I encouraged her and we researched several different places around Austin before deciding to come to Moore Couture Lash and Brow Bar. We met Andrea who was very kind and patient with my aunt who was very nervous. She took the time to show us different options and when we settled on one, I went next door for coffee while waiting for the process to finish. When I came back, Stephanie's eyebrows were very dark and had sharp points but Andrea assured us that this was normal for the first few days and it would settle. And she was right!! By the next week, the color was perfect, the brows were natural looking and well shaped and framed my aunt's face perfectly. It really made her eyes pop. Since then, Stephanie has gone to Andrea for the eyebrow touch up. I didn't think they could look any better but they did! I am so grateful to Andrea for helping my aunt see herself as the beautiful person she is and Stephanie will definitely continue to come back. I will also be coming here for brow waxes with my friend who lives just down the road. This was such a great experience. read more
