For those who aren't paying attention or maybe don't know me, coffee is an integral part of my life…read moreand travels. Whenever I visit somewhere new I make sure to visit at least one small coffee shop. I passionately support small businesses as much as I can! My friend and I had driven up to a local confectionery and I was dragging afterwards. So we found this adorable little place and I had one of the best coffees of my life! The only reason that I am giving it four stars instead of five is that they don't do blended coffee. I also think they need to hire a couple more people as the wait was a bit much. That being said it was entirely worth it because as I stated my vanilla pistachio latte was one of the best coffees I have had in 20 some odd years of coffee drinking. I also loved the decor and cute little elements that really make you feel at home! They had plenty of seating especially for being a smaller establishment Overall, Cute, locally owned and very friendly staff! Delicious coffee! Plenty of drink options and tea and fruity options for those non coffee drinkers as well! If you're in the area definitely visit Sip House!

The service was great. They have smoothies and coffee, lattes and some little pastries. A little pricey but well worth it cause you can tell everything is homemade and high quality. Worth a stop!

I love planning our trips. Not only do I select what towns we visit and what we want to see or do…read morein each town, I also plan the food side of it... where we eat meals, any snacks or treats. I have it all written out, so we know where we'll be going. Kind of like... when in Rome, do as the Romans do. For me, I need to know ahead of time what that'll be, so we can do them. Such was the case with Wilbur's of Maine Chocolates. Don't remember now where I read about this place, but some blogger mentioned them with high praise, so on my list this place went. We made a point to stop by Wilbur's on our way to Boothbay Harbor (also in Maine for those who don't know), and we are so glad we did. This is primarily a candy shop... but it is so much more. They have other food items, home decor, gift items, and of course, lots of chocolate. We bought a couple of stuffed animals for our grandchildren, as well as some flavored sauces in a jar (to be poured over ice cream), and we couldn't leave without buying some chocolates ! We tried some chocolate-dipped orange rind and a few truffle flavors as well. Everything was very fresh and tasty. If I'm ever fortunate enough to be in Maine again, I'm sure we will stop here again.

They continue to expand, to offer local Maine products, both food and textiles - it's a great place to go for buying gifts for people. Some of my favorites are shown in the pictures - I love anything maple and their maple malt balls are my absolute favorite! I love their chocolate covered products, pretzels, cherries, peanuts, raisins and blueberries and so much more. They sell Sweet Monkey Business shortbread cookies on occassion - they are the best in Maine for packaged cookies. The owner is very kind as well. This year (2025) my favorite purchase was the Candy Cottage kit! So cute and creative and it smells so much better than gingerbread. I loved it. Great for gift giving as well. Parking is great and there is an car charging spot as well if you are lucky enough to snag the spot. Not a super charger, but it's something. I hope to be able to participate in a special event sometime. They offer tours, and candy making events, like make your own candy cane. With that said, I highly recommend. Stop on by, you might see me shopping LOL

After 1hr and 45 minutes of waiting for our food, promises that the food is coming from the poor waitress, no food. The restaurant was emptying out. Mind you, this is for two plates of scrambled eggs, toast and home fries. This was the attitude directly from the owner to the waitress. The owner could have cared less. The worst treatment I've ever experienced from a breakfast joint. I'll never go again and would advise people to not go as well. 0 out of 10 rating. The waitress was apologetic and frankly embarrassed by the owner's attitude.

I will say they appear to have their baked goods as well as many different food options like sandwiches but my review is strictly for the coffee. Once you enter to the right is all the different seating with a good variety of tables and chairs but also some more comfy choices like couches. Quite a large space inside and a handful of tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. You order at the counter and then they have a spot further down where they'll call out your name for both food and drinks. They had a section on the menu called the MET Artistic Lattes which was their version of specialty flavored lattes. This caught our eyes. My wife went with the Falcon Pride (chocolate & white chocolate latte) and I went with the Vanilla Bean Dream (white chocolate & vanilla). Drink wise they were both pretty good! Didn't become a new favorite coffee spot but good enough we would return if we found ourselves in the area looking for coffee again. To have a real strong opinion I would need to return and try some of the food rather than just the coffee.

The pizza was way better than I thought it was going to be…read more Freeport can be a touristy spot, so I didn't have high expectations of a restaurant around the corner from the outlets. Pizza menu here is long, you can get a lot of interesting flavor combinations. We ordered a large cheese pizza, the sweet potato pizza with sausage, a margarita, and a chicken bacon ranch. All the pizzas were tasty, I have to say the cheese pizza was really delicious, especially with the addition of house made ranch. I also love that they have diet Dr Pepper, you don't find that often in restaurants.. The one thing I really didn't like is that they used flour instead of cornmeal under the pizza. I just didn't like the feeling of tasting flour and I missed the crunch from the cornmeal. I also would've preferred if the sweet potato pizza had chunks of roasted sweet potato rather than dollop of sweet potato purée. If you're looking for a quick and tasty meal while shopping, this is definitely a good place to consider!

They only had two people on shift that day and were apologizing to everyone because they felt they were delayed on providing the meals, but they did a great job. No one there was complaining. Everyone got their food on time and the place was cleaned up and you would never have known only two people were running the kitchen and the front given how busy the place was. The dining area had a ton of tables for small, medium or large groups and there was plenty of parking available. Recommend trying: SM Pesto Feta "Veggie" PLUS Pepperoni
