Soya Street's owner is smart... having a banner advertising their drinks for $1.25... and then up sell you to their Black Sesame & Bean Soy Drink ($2). I did not realize I am not the only vulnerable one that fell for that.... Black sesame gives soy milk a nutty flavor, as well as providing a rich source of manganese, copper, tryptophan, iron and fiber. Aside from the benefit... it does taste good!! I really like their soy milk and soy tofu dessert. Their fresh made products can be a little more expensive then getting the same product from the supermarket but thats the point for making things fresh. The owner is slightly pushy at the end of the day in selling out all his products but thats the point making and selling everything so everyone can have fresh products the next day. If you love and can drink lot of it, it might be a good idea to go at the end of the day to bargin a little, but you might not be able to get everything you want. I like the various types of soy milk that is sold there black sesame, ginger, red dates, original... it's such a long process to make soy milk and soy tofu so everyone should appreciate the art of making it! read more

My family have been buying the original soya milk and tofu pudding for many many years now and never went to anywhere else ever since! The soya milk and tofu pudding are made with high quality soya beans that you can actually taste. Very smooth, soft, and very fresh. You can also choose the sweetness level if they aren't bottled yet. High quality come with higher prices, but the owner often gives discounts when you buy multiple items. The owner is pretty pushy and often throws in free items for us, like free popcorn (which tastes like the popcorn ftom hk!) or a cup of flavoured soya milk. read more

Black Sesame & Bean Soy Drink($2.00/cup) - Needed a Beverage in New Mong Kok Plaza and this standing-room only Soya Drink & Snack Shop was open. The ingredients in the Soy Beverage supposedly gives me a nice Shiny Coat(Soy Milk Benefits) and also some Dark Luscious Hair(Black Sesame Benefits). Mostly of Asian origins and consumption especially in China and Korea. The flavour of it is almost like having Cantonese Black Sesame Soup but without that thick consistency and definitely less sweeten. After-all it is suppose to be more of a Health Beverage than a Diabetes explosion. read more

Got some tofu pudding dessert. It didn't taste bad but its way below expectations, especially for a place that specializes in soya products. The tofu pudding was way to liquidy and it wasn't very smooth at all. I have had their tofu pudding here for many years just because of proximity and every time I'm hoping they would change the way they make it and get it right but its been the same way all these years. I've been going here for years!!! (Over 15 years!!!) This is the best popcorn and I can't find any other place that makes popcorn like them. It's Hong Kong style and tastes like honey. Its not sweet like caramel, but it the honey sweet taste. It's crunchy and super good. I always buy it in the bucket size!!!! The popcorn stays crunchy a few days after if you store it properly. This is my hidden gem for best popcorn!!! They also sell soya products which is great as well! They make it in house and it's way better than any supermarket bought ones. This little Shop is located inside the food court inside Kennedy square plaza; near the chinese supermarket and bakery. They sell tofu pudding (tofu fa) and soy milk. Tofu fa is $3.5 for a fairly large take-out container. Tofu fa wasn't bad but wasn't great either. I find it wasn't smooth and light; too "dense" for my liking. read more

I'm going to second Jennifer K's experience. I ordered a ginger soy milk with sugar. On the menu, it was $1.25. She poured me a medium and asked me for $2.00. I pointed to the menu and asked her about the price difference. She said that the $1.25 was for a small. I told her I wanted a small (think a regular sized cup of soy milk). She then poured me another one. Smart owner? I don't know about that. More like scammer. I really didn't appreciate it. That being said, the ginger soy milk was interesting. Not quite as much ginger as I would have liked, but it was definitely there. Would I go back again? Well, I'm not a fan of being scammed, so probably not. read more

Horrible sales tactic with very pushy owner. She will consistently try to upsell you to either get larger quantity/size or push you for additional items you don't want. She will also never tell you the price of one single unit of an item. The only item I like is the ginger soy milk, however they have lost my business as I will never go again. read more

Loved shopping at soya street at the end of the day. Tones of discount. Loved the company willing to provide discount on soya milk and dessert as long as buying fair amount of product from them. Nowadays every shop increase their price except them. Cannot believed how many people willing to wait on buying their discount product whether than paying original price , ages 25-50 males non stop asking discount lol.... how on earth they make living. Love stopping by for fresh soy milk. I tried their black sesame soy milk for $1.25. It was served hot, nutty and delicious. I asked for half of the amount of sugar and it was the perfect balance of sweetness. read more

Brought original tofu pudding flower for $4 with honey sauce made fresh. Owner lady seems fine to me purchased during afternoon.
