I'll preface this with; you get what you pay for and also that it wasn't the worst I've ever stayed in.
There is no office so you are sent "check in" instructions via email. They also ask that you reply with your arrival/departure time, vehicle info and final guest count. In their email check-in was listed as 3pm. In our response we stated we'd be there around 3:30, however we ended up arriving just after 4. Our room was not ready. They were in the process of cleaning it and we waited an additional 30 minutes. So at about an hour and a half after what they state their check-in time is, we were finally able to get into our room. Also to be noted, there are pin codes used to get in the room. The first thing I noticed walking up was that the cleaning ladies had them listed out on a clipboard sitting out side our room, while they were inside our room cleaning. Anyone could have walked up to get the pin codes and then gain access to our rooms.
When we booked it stated that parking was free on a first come first served basis. However, it did not state that there are 8 spots for 10 units. And that if you don't get one of those spots you will need to park in the street where you will have to pay. They do give you a pass to put in your window because the lot is a tow-away zone. But even when reported nothing is done when there are multiple vehicles in the lot with no passes.
The rooms are dated and definitely need an upgrade, but not the worst I've seen. The paint on the walls in the bathroom and kitchen was cracked and peeling. And based on the number of headaches my daughter and I had during our visit there's something (mold, excess dust, etc) somewhere in the room.
On the upside, this was the least expensive place we could find with a full kitchen. And they are pet-friendly, so we were able to save a couple hundred dollars by bringing our pup with us. read more
