One particular visit the water attachment wasn't working properly so she used the dental tools from my try to fix it because they couldn't find pliers. She then attempted to use them on me but I quickly stopped her and reminded her what she just used them for! Dr. Varkey has become rough and rude if you question him at all. His work has actually worsened the condition of my teeth and mental health. At one visit he was resting his body weight on my face, I stayed quiet but eventually started to tear up. He become super frustrated saying " you're always here and when you come you're a problem! " The tears really began to flow as he partially finished the work. I'm so thankful to the lead assistant for hugging me up and trying to make it better. Unfortunately I still have to see him again to finish up work (uncapped tooth left open for 3 months) and hopefully not leave out with ANOTHER ROOT CANAL. Those are given out more than the toys in the treasure box. I'm down to 19 teeth since United Smiles and requested dental partials now that I can't chew many solid foods. That was a year and a half ago and the response everytime is I'll look into it. Wish me luck on the upcoming appointment, hopefully they'll be playing Brain Adams and not that "Mexican Music" to uplift his spirits. HIS WORDS NOT MINE.

She finished entering the other patient's info and she was on her cell phone and other people walked in and she continued to help them, instead of helping me out as I was next on line to make a follow up appointment for my daughter. Most times it was hard to get her to even go back to the dentist because she just didn't want to be in that pain. She understood there would be some pain but not to the extent she was in. She would say I think they drilled or did something too hard. The pieces of the braces often fell off in her mouth. She was careful about what she ate like gum, candy and other foods that could damage the braces but these things still occured. My older child had gotten braces from a place in Lynchburg, VA and never had any of the problems with their braces that my other child ended up having. It's up to you where you go but just do your research and make sure this is the right place for you because even with good customer service we sometimes overlook the real service we should be getting.
