Harry and Edna Messick started this community with only a few homes lined on a dirt road that they named Maple Drive. Now, passed down 4 generations later, and with over 300 lots, Maple Square has grown into a beautiful community that we know they would be so proud of! We have hired new management for the office, and just last week, we hired new maintenance. Just about all of the owners are residents and living in the park. And the few that aren't are within walking distance. We are all very active within the community. There's a group on the Nextdoor app for residents to join. It is handled by the owners, not management. We want to know what's going on.. the good and the bad! This is more than a Mobile Home Park for us. This is our home as well. We have all grown up here. Harry and Edna (my great grandparents) to Ray and Rose (my grandparents) to Russell and Terrie (my dad and my aunt), to me, my siblings and cousins (all 6 of us), to my children who have thier own homes in the park! This community will be forever in our family. Passed down to the next generation like it was passed down to us and so on.. We have the lowest lot rent in the area. Lot rent includes trash, water, and basic cable. We run background checks on all applicants to ensure the safety of current residents. If I could give Whitmer Decks six (or more) stars, I wouldn't hesitate…read more Cliff Whitmer and his entire crew--Sam, Mike, Pavlo, Wade, and Keen--truly knocked it out of the park from start to finish. From our very first meeting with Cliff (the company owner!) to the final walk-through with Sam, the project manager, the experience was exceptional every step of the way. The communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Not once did we feel anything less than a top priority. Texts were answered within an hour, and emails were always returned within hours. That level of responsiveness gave us complete confidence and peace of mind. Mike, Pavlo, and Wade were the primary builders, and they were phenomenal. They treated us like rock stars during the entire three-and-a-half-week build. Mike, the lead carpenter, took the time to explain every phase of the project in detail, which my wife and I truly appreciated. Whitmer Decks removed our old deck and built a beautiful new 14x12 screened porch, along with a 10x10 deck and staircase. I'm no professional photographer, but the results speak for themselves--we are absolutely thrilled. We can't wait for warmer weather so we can fully enjoy our stunning new space. The craftsmanship is simply incredible. These guys are true artists. Every time we look at the work Whitmer Decks completed, we're blown away all over again. Spent an hour at my house discussing and taking measurements. Waited nearly two weeks for the quote and get a call they don't "replace" and confirmed they said they only do new construction per the "manager". Missed HOA deadline for May due to waiting on this final quote to make my decision to submit the application. Frustrating. They clearly didn't want the job or update your website to remove "deck replacement".

I live very near here and when I go on my walks I sometimes venture in here as the trail leads this…read moreway. I just happened to walk into the grounds a week or two ago and finally got a good look at them. I have been through here many times while on the Metro Bus and only get a glimpse. It is well used and not just in the warm months. There are always people here throughout the year. As expected, during the warmer months this place is packed. With the amount of things on property to do during those months, I can see why. There is minigolf, playgrounds, spray playground, and tons of walking trails. I also see the horse crossing signs along the road and trails through the area, so be aware of that. The only downside to this place, and it is of no fault to the owners, is the amount of traffic that passes by and may cause a bit of a hectic situation when it comes to entering and exiting. They have widened the road in front of the entrance to allow for a turning lane and an entrance lane to the road, but a lot of the people traveling the road seem to not understand that. I don't see the road widening any further until the brides that cross over I-495 are replaced and widened themselves.

The park is clean and the staff is friendly…read more It has all the attractions, pools and pond. The park is really close to the freeway and very loud. It is really a park for tourists and families with kids. They have a rental ballroom which had non-campers racing through the park. The little train/tactor ride around the park stopped in front of our site beeping the train horn with people yelling as we were trying to cook. I don't need to be on someone elses vaction. They also allow golf carts with sound and light systems to race around the park blasting music and yelling. It was a different RV experience than we expected. Not a real RV or camping spot, but probably great for families on summer break.
