I have always been more than pleased with their products and service, especially their customer service. Their stock lumber is first-rate and they have many reasonably priced slabs. I've bought a number of wide, 2" thick walnut slabs from them--check out their website for some of their inventory--as well as ash, maple and cherry. Last year, looking to fill a special request, I relied on Groff and Groff to find me a bookmatch of 8/4 cherry and within a few days they had a gorgeous pair of figured cherry slabs that, honestly, I wish I had kept for myself instead of using them for a sale. This searching for the right wood took the generous efforts of Angela in the office and John in the yard. Angela handled my emails and John took pictures of boards that might work for me. When they found what I needed, as always, they shipped the product the next day. They are that kind of company--always happy to make their customers happy. I can't say enough good things about Groff and Groff. They are truly a superior company. Albert D.
