Mary Beth is the most hard working and best agent I have come across through 3 home purchases and 2 home sales. We were new to the area and uncertain exactly where we wanted to live as our employment was not finalized. When we expressed interest in an area that Mary Beth was less familiar with, she brought in a colleague to assist us in that market. Mary Beth wanted to do the best job for us and recognized where her own experience could have been limiting, and made sure that we had the expertise we needed for that market. Beyond her knowledge, experience and hard work, Mary Beth is just a pleasure to work with. She will respond to emails, texts and voicemails, around the clock. When it came time to close, I found her diligence and negotiating skills to be the most valuable aspect of working with her.

Our realtor, Eric Buck, was there for my wife and I during every step of the process and provided every detail we asked for and more. He was very professional, caring, and knowledgeable at what he does. I would highly recommend having Eric Buck as your realtor whether you are a first time home buyer, or someone that has been through the process before. Also, during our final walkthrough and closing, Samantha Frick stepped in and was equally as kind and professional. You can tell the realtors at Erik Hoferer & Associates of Long and Foster really care about what they do and want the best for their clients.

I began dealing with John Rowland, one of the realtors in this company, in March. I told him what…read moreI was looking for in a property, and he claimed he could help. By June, I had NOT heard from John at all (not even an email stating I was still on his radar). When I phoned him, I had to refresh his memory as to who I am and what I'm looking for. Therefore, those 3 months were wasted on this realtor, as it was obvious he wasn't searching for a suitable property for me to buy. To add fuel to the fire, in the end of that phone conversation, he told me to let him know if I found a property on my own so that he could schedule a tour. WHAT???? You want ME to do the leg work in finding the property so that all you have to do to collect your commission is to give me a tour???? John has got to be one of the laziest realtors I've ever dealt with. In calling his boss, Erik Hoferer, after my conversation with John to complain about him, Erik did not apologize to me, nor did he offer to find a property for me. It appears that apathy is a culture within this company. Sad....very sad~!
