Hand pulled combination fried noodles
Sarah N.

For a dumpling restaurant in Corpus Christi, I wasn't expecting much but I really loved the dishes we ordered! They make the xiao long bao to order and while the skin isn't as thin as I'd like they make up for almost half the dumpling filled with super flavorful soup! The salt and pepper tofu was super crispy and the hand pulled noodles were so bouncy and yummy. Their portions are also extremely generous and the price point was great.

I happened to come across a tiktok for this place and had to try it. The inside was small but we were quickly seated and waited on. There are so many options and we ordered way too much food but everything we had was great. We ordered the scallion pancakes, combo xaio dumplings (soup dumplings), spicy Szechuan popcorn chicken w/fried noodles, orange chicken w/white rice and chocolate bao for dessert. The pancakes were crisp and flavorful - not too greasy at all. We enjoyed the xaio dumplings again fresh and flavorful. My husband really enjoyed the Szechuan popcorn chicken- you could tell it was hand breaded and he said the spice and flavor was spot on. The fried noodles were flavorful and had a slight spice to them. (We originally were going to order reg noodles but our server let us know that reg noodles were just plain noodles so sauce or anything). The orange chicken was fresh and flavorful- everything had large portions! We honestly could've split an entree and still had plenty. The chocolate bao - so delicious- I still have dreams about this! Would highly recommend everything!

Spicy Edamame-辣味水煮 , Kung Pao-宫保 combo Hongyu Wonton-红油炒手

The food is always served hot and handmade. The spicy wontons and edamame were perfect starters for our combo kung pao which had the most satisfying sauce. We also got desert cheesecake baos which were amazing fresh and hot. The service is knowledgeable about the menu and able to give great recommendations. I will always recommend this place for a tasteful and unique experience.

Go here for the dumplings not for the noodles. The dumplings were delicious, except for beef which tasted undercook. However, the noodles lacked flavor. The service was slow, but we also understood that they didn't have a lot of staff. Go here for good dumplings and friendly service!

Szechuan popcorn tofu, colorful bao (like a bao sampler), and braised beef noodle soup

LOVE THIS PLACE. We ordered the youpo noodles and it came with chili glakes and raw garlic. It tasted so fresh! We also got the colorful bao to try the dumpling flavors. The chili oil it came with was perfect. We tried the braised beef stew and the beef was perfectly cooked. The flavor was amazing. We also ordered the pan fried beef bao. Definitely dip those in the chili oil as well! Last but not least, THE SZECHUAN POPCORN TOFU. If you're not a tofu fan, order a different protein, but the spice and herbs were so delicious. This will definitely be my usual there. The tables were super clean and had plates and utensils set up. It felt so pretty and welcoming. Love the ambiance with the rope lighting and their plates were beautiful. Our server was Catherine and she was GREAT. She recommended the chocolate bao that had soooo much chocolate in it. We loved it. We are so excited to come back and to bring our extended family when they visit! Had a great time! TIP: Look up the menu beforehand so you can order the bao and dumplings as soon as you're seated as they might take a little time. So worth it!

We've been wanting to come to this place for a while. I'm so glad we did. The noodles are hand pulled. The gentleman behind the glass is making them. It's a great show absolutely worth the wait! it's all made fresh so it takes a little time. I will most definitely be coming back. Make sure to try the curry noodles. They are phenomenal. The place is small and inviting GREAT for date night!

We came on a Sunday afternoon and we were literally the only customers in the restaurant! Not sure why because the food was really good and the employees were nice and helpful. The pan fried baos were greasy but that was to be expected and still tasted really good. We could see the cooks in the back hand making everything which was pretty cool to see. Wish they had more locations closer to me!

Spicy and Sour clear noodle soup with chicken

First timer. Dining in early and was a good move. Great service by Jordan who's suggestions for dinner were perfect and helped us navigate the menu. Had three kinds of noodles to enjoy - a fried (sautéed) rice noodle with shrimp, fresh hand pulled noodle and a clear glass noodle soup. All of them were delicious, perfectly cooked but I'll have to say that the thicker noodles were so much more fun to eat. Will have to enjoy the bao next time we are in town. Meals came out hot and quick. Today I got to sneak a peek of the chefs making little dumplings thru the kitchen window - so fun. Super convenient from the street and easy access parking.

BBQ Barbecued Pork Bao(4)-叉烧包(4)

Service was amazing, Katherine was amazing and super attentive and recommended amazing dishes to try. The food was amazing. I have eaten Chinatown in Houston and New York and this compares or even better to me. The soup dumplings were amazing and the BBQ Boa was delicious! The Mushroom noodles were my favorite!!

On the occasions I've gone in, the restaurant has always appeared clean and well kept. Customer service can be a little hit or miss, which matches what some other reviewers have mentioned. I've had visits where the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and others where I was simply stared at while waiting to order without so much as a greeting. It hasn't been bad enough to keep me away, but it's noticeable. The food is why I keep coming back. The bánh mì sandwiches are excellent, especially the short rib version. My wife is obsessed with the green onion pancake, and I wish I knew the recipe for the dipping sauce they serve with it. The pork belly steamed buns are absolutely worth ordering, and the crispy pork belly rice is still my favorite dish on the menu. The rich pork belly, fried rice, fresh salad, and vinaigrette all work really well together. If you haven't been, it's worth a visit. Try a few different dishes and you'll probably find a favorite of your own.
