One job they did was a little more complicated than normal because of some rust and we had a more industrial strength garbage disposal to replace the existing one--so some parts needed refitting. The second job they did a simple fix on a leaky faucet that they could have charged more and I wouldn't have known the difference. They're also very open to you getting the new materials and saving the time it would cost to have them do it (if you want), unlike a big company that would buy the parts and charge a markup. I'll definitely call them when we need more plumbing work , which we no doubt will.

According to the new plumber I just hired from Lowe's, they are NOT licensed. I'm out money and water but getting it resolved. They are very sketchy. Criminal fraud charges being initiated.

That should tell you what type of person you would be dealing with. I had firsthand experience with Lucas Board. He did some plumbing work for me and I honestly think a first grader could have done better. Everything he did would not pass code nor inspection. He ruined my vanity, purposely did damage to my shower (IMO) and way overcharged for the work he did. The plumbing line coming out of the wall to the toilet was placed on my baseboard, the shutoff valve was for a dishwasher and he left a hole in the wall. When I brought it to his attention, he asked me, "do you have one of those toilet bowl brushes and a wastebasket?" I answered, "yes". He said, "just set those in front of the hole and you will never notice it". I could go on and on. Check criminal history and lawsuits brought against both Lucas Board and his wife.

While the unit needed to be replaced, AHSW only wanted to band aid the issue. Montgomery Coastal Cool also got on the phone with me with the AHSW and both of us were frustrated with their responses. Montgomery Coastal Cool came out and inspected my unit. They worked on the unit and got it working. After working with the warranty coverage only to figure out that they are the rip off, I decided to go ahead and replace the unit. Otherwise, I would just be doing service call after service call. Montgomery was responsive, pro-active and checked back on the install of the unit. I had two thermostats (Sensi) which allowed me to remotely control the temperature that they installed at the same time. Robert and the team were prompt and did a great job. I would recommend them and plan to reach out when I have to replace the 2nd unit. It's been one year with my new AC and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Montgomery Coastal Cool.
