This is my favorite local coffee shop in Seminole, FL! We always order the signature banana mocha with oat milk, and my favorite seasonal drinks are the coconut banana and the Summer Samoan. It's truly some of the best coffee around, and I love that they roast their own coffee beans and use homemade syrups. The service makes it even better, the staff are so kind and welcoming every time. The ambiance is what really pulls it all together, it's quaint, cozy, and the perfect place to hang out, play trivia, or read. And the music is always a vibe, lots of Fleetwood Mac (I might be biased). 5/5 will always come back whenever I stop for the beach! read more

Great little coffee shop! We had 2 empanadas and a latte. You have to try the Cuban empanada - like a Cuban sandwich inside! Beef flavor was good too. Service was phenomenal - so genuinely friendly. They also roast their own beans btw :) A little pricey for the drinks, though, and I felt the flavor of one of their specialty lattes was quite weak [could barely taste the hazelnut/mocha flavor *sniff*]. The space was really small and gets packed, so not so much a place to linger and work -- even when factoring outside seating. However, if you're in the area, it's good spot to come grab a bite and a specialty latte to go -- specially as there are no other good local, comparable options I've tried. read more

This was a cute spot to find on our way home. We were visiting family in the area and came across this little spot. The staff were friendly and recognized the regulars. Definitely worth checking out! We tried 2 seasonal drinks and they were both really good and different. One was a creamsicle inspired iced latte that had a delicious orange cold foam. I had this place on my list to check out and am so happy we did! We stopped in for a later afternoon coffee and was wanting to coming back for food! We ordered some iced coffees and fell in love with the coffee shop. They had a great food and drink menu but their seasonal menu was something to try! I ordered the matcha julep and was wanting more! I think I drank my iced matcha within 10 minutes. It was very tasty and unlike anything I've tried. The inside was decorated extremely cute and even offered free treats to any of our four legged friends. All in all it was a great spot to come in and out for a quick coffee or stay and play trivia with some friends. read more

Coffee, food and service is very good. Everything is a bit pricey, but watch the up charges. For instance if you ask for an everything bagel for your egg and cheese sandwich it is an extra $2.75, which we food out after we got home. The other sandwich was also on a plain bagel and that was an extra $2.75. Maybe this is in fine print somewhere, but most places don't up charge like this . read more

We stopped in for coffee and ended up having a light breakfast. We ordered off their summer menu. We shared an avocado toast and charcuterie honey toast. This is one of my favorite coffee shops! I started going to their Clearwater locations and when I moved I was so happy to find their Seminole one. As a lifelong coffee connoisseur their coffee roast is amazing! I take my coffee black and I can enjoy all the different notes in the beans and it is always smooth. Every time I go to Southie Coffee I am always greeted by friendly employees and a nice atmosphere. I always get an ice chai latte, and it never fails to disappoint. Whenever I order from Starbucks, it just tastes like plain milk, but I've never had that experience here. The employees are very friendly, and will even start small talk. They are always very efficient and I'm able to be in and out in minutes if I need to be. There are multiple tables available for indoor and outdoor seating. I have never once had a bad experience at Southie. read more

First visit here in my coffee shop search for a quiet place to work. I had an iced speciality coffee with orange and bitters. Delicious! The egg and cheese sandwich was also tasty. Service was great. The place is small and clean. The music was perfect, not too loud or too soft. While there are tables and chairs that aren't for a long visit, there are three tables with comfortable chairs for long term. Only negative is not enough outlets, but I came with a fully charged laptop so that wasn't an issue. read more

I got an iced latte with mocha and coconut, and it was delicious! The chocolate muffin was also amazing and I couldn't stop eating it. The empanada was a little dry, but still pretty good. We did not try any food but those muffins everyone is talking about looked great! Coffee is good, but VERY strong. This is a tiny little shop in the back of a shopping center. They have free WiFi and a little stand of books to hang out and read. They do not have a lot of seating and most of the tables are only big enough for 2. They are very friendly when you walk in and pretty fast for good custom coffee. We would definitely be interested in coming back! read more

Our server was super sweet and the coffee shop looked so inviting with games and comfortable seating areas. I also indulged in something called a Nutella puff and it was excellent! Great local coffee spot! The drinks are delicious with lots of yummy seasonal flavors. I had the iced creamsicle latte and it was fabulous! Not too sweet or too bitter. This area has needed a coffee shop for so long and I'm so happy that Southie is there! On a Sunday morning there was really no line, The two girls behind the counter were super nice and helped me order for the first time. I got a couple coffees and two breakfast burritos and a muffin. Everything was so delicious. The banana nut muffin was out of this world-I really don't think I've had a muffin like that in a while! The breakfast burrito was so good and well seasoned I thought my veggie version had meat in it! it was delicious. Can't wait to come back and support this coffee shop! read more

Cute hometown coffee shop. Decor was inviting the music playing was foul and offensive. It didn't match the ambiance of the coffee shop My Empanda was delicious! It hit the spot. Mushrooms spinach red pepper and few potatoes. This place has a something for the vegan as well as the meat eater. Really cute simple menu for eating. The muffins and breakfast rolls looked heavenly too Reasonably priced while I'm thinking about it They've many a hot tea or coffee combinations but a southern lady looking for sweet tea...that you won't find. They did brew it with some black tea and added simple syrup after some thought but in reality wish it were ready as we were on a time crunch. My husband and I checked out this place on our way to take the dogs to the park. The ordering process online was super easy and they text you when your order is ready! We both got egg sandwiches and I liked that they have a vegetarian option as well. The eggs were cooked omelette-ish style and were bigger than the bun. My husband got the cold brew coffee with mint and I got a mocha with oat milk. Both were tasty! It's a nice addition to that part of Seminole where you'd have to drive out to the shopping centers or beaches for a cup of coffee or breakfast. read more

The coffee and Lattes are absolutely delicious! Lavender and Rose Dream so far are my all time favorites! The turkey bacon wrap with chips was so good! Nice and warm and fresh. Good flavor just a little wrap. I also got a blueberry muffin for my kiddo. I heated it up when he got home for school and he said " mommy this is good" so that's a win! Just a chill little spot located in the portobello plaza. They have a decent little menu with several pastries. Staff is super nice and helpful! They offer wifi as well. I'll be by today for coffee! Favorite neighborhood coffee shop. Some days my morning walk takes me to Southie. They open early. Their seasonal menu is delicious. They will customize your drinks to suit your taste. The breakfast Sammy is delicious. Sometimes my husband and I will get one sandwich and one muffin, cut in half and share. The best of both worlds. Cranberry orange muffins are my favorite. Best little secret we ran into leaving Redington Beach! In a small Little strip of shops and very unassuming. Gluten free and vegan options w gluten free pastries to boot. We had the Sammy sandwich and it was simple fresh and hit the spot. I had the southie iced coffee w coconut milk. Yum. Hubs always gets black hot and he said it was def a good black coffee. Ordered a large drip coffee with half and half. It tasted like pure water. I went back in and told the worker, he said maybe I'm used to a dark roast, they brew medium roast. I drink a lot of coffee, medium roast included. This tasted like pure water. I asked to have a taste just black but he said he needed to make a new pot. He gave me a shot of espresso to add but it barely changed the watered taste, probably because I ordered a large. Worst cup of coffee ever. read more

We went in on our vacation to Florida and I got s'mores iced coffee and a hammy breakfast burrito! It was soo good the absolute best breakfast burrito and the coffee was the perfect amount of sweet. The girl working was so helpful and awesome getting all our orders ready in a quick manner. This is not a great location for large groups. If you have more than five people in your group this is probably not the best location for you as they cannot seat more than one large group at a time. She then said there would be about a 25-minute wait and that there were parties ahead of us, which we understood and accepted. However, we were later told that despite being on the list, we would not be seated because there was "no way to contact us" when our turn came and that we needed to remain in one specific spot. Given that no instructions or staff were present when we arrived, this explanation was confusing and felt inconsistent. The interaction gave the clear impression that we were not welcome to wait or dine there, so we chose to leave. Dining out should feel respectful and inclusive, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
