While driving from Huntsville, Alabama to Oxford, Mississippi, my dash suddenly signaled that all of the car's sensors were not operating. I pulled into Tupelo, Mississippi hoping to find a Mercedes dealer only to find out that the nearest one was in Memphis, 116 miles away. I found Auto Medic online and saw that they specialized in Mercedes and other high end vehicles. The shop was hidden from the street behind another building. I began to have doubts until I noticed all of the high end cars parked in their lot. I arrived at 4 pm on a Wednesday. From that point, they made every effort to get me back on the road safely. The problem was determined to be a 4' x 6' piece of plastic wrapping material that had somehow wrapped around the left front drive axle so tightly that the sensor wires had snapped and the inner seal had been crushed. The damage required the half-axle to be replaced. Auto Medic's owner, Bobby, drove us to a car rental agency to get a car while his team started to search for a new half-axle. This was during the second year of Covid, and foreign car parts were very difficult to find. A new half-axle was found in Florida, and they had it shipped to another distribution center in Mississippi. Rather than wait for the part to be re-shipped, they drove 120 miles round trip to pick up the part when it arrived at the distribution center. They had us on our way Friday morning, with the damaged parts in tow in case there was some difficulty with our insurance claim. (There was none.) During the entire time I was at Auto Medic, they made sure I had everything I needed. I was invited to watch them work on the car, and they took photos to show the claim adjuster (who was in Connecticut! ) what the situation was. I was most impressed to see the lead mechanic using the opportunity to explain the working of the 4-matic (AWD) system to other mechanics as it is rarely seen in cars sold in the South. Although they went through a lot of extra effort, they stayed with their original estimate. When I returned home, the car was due for its B maintenance check and was found to be in perfect condition.

My 23-year-old daughter when to get tires from there on 8/26/26. they sold her 2 used tires for…read more195.68 a piece along with 4 tires sensor @64.99 a piece. she was only looking for 2 tires. the total was 650 dollars. They had her to sign a lease agreement for tires and sensors. she would have to pay 27.71 initial payment. Then pay 16.90 plus 77.00 a week for 17 weeks. That meant by time she paid that lease agreement she would have paid a total of 1318.20 for 2 used tires along with the 4 sensors The second day after getting tires she had to air the tire up that was leaking. I checked at Walmart for the same tire brand new you could get 4 for 238 dollars. Also, they had a Nexen brand that RNR express sells for 98 dollars. I believe they took advantage of her because she was young and a girl. I never knew that you could lease tires. I always seen people finance them. I went with her back to the store with her to get matter resolved not knowing she had a lease agreement, thinking they were fiancé. So we were going to pay it off to save interest thinking they were financed. They ask what we wanted to do after I paid it off. I said return it. She went to talk to manager that was there. I asked him how they sold her used tires and sensors for 650 dollars and the fact that tire was leaking air. He stated she sign the paperwork she knew what she was getting. He was question her like she knew what she is signing. I ask him if he wanted someone to do this daughter. He ended up checking the tire and replacing that one with a new one saying I am meeting you halfway. My mistake was paying it off thinking I was saving interest. Had I known it was a lease agreement I could have just given them back the tires and sensors and could have walked away only losing the initial payments. Please do not fall for the trap they have setup. MJ

Taking a closer look at the ad, the prices are definitely misleading and scammy. Not worth my time even if they didn't already piss me off.
