My first impression upon walking in was that seemingly was a pretty nice place for a small town although there were some paint buckets and painting materials that were sitting inside to the right when we first walked in. I will say that was a little off-putting. At first walking up to the cafeteria style set up where you picked all your food I was a little concerned. I only say this because some of the food appeared to be slightly dried out looking when it came to the fried chicken and the salmon patties. Roasted Coconut Cafe shares the same building with Demeter's Common which you can read my review there. There's a round table and chairs inside but you can opt to eat outside in the parking lot where there's a table and chairs and some benches. When you need help, just ring the bell. The staff were friendly in discussion and kept to themselves, so do ring that bell for assistance. I personally liked this concept so that the employees can do other things instead of waiting around. My husband and I both ordered the PB&J bowls size medium, his with added coconut and mine with added goji berries. We ordered online and did pickup in store. When I saw that extra toppings were only 25 cents more per topping, I immediately fell in love!! Most smoothie shops charge at least 75 cents if not a dollar per additional topping. Our bowls were DELICIOUS, tasted natural, and weren't overbearingly sweet. This is a real-deal smoothie shop. Now I know why you're paying little extra, the ingredients are premium.
