Spacebox is a great place to for your storage needs if you're interested in a clean, safe and…read morecentrally located storage facility. I've used other storage facilities in the area, and they pale in comparison. I was offered a great deal on a last minute unit, that I needed for a couple of months. They have a convenient loading dock in the front of the building that's only accessible with your security code. You also have to use your security code to access the elevators, which adds another level of security and safety when coming and going out of the facility. No need to worry about cars blocking the loading dock, because there are several designated parking spaces available if you're not loading or unloading. I really appreciate how sanitary the facility is, compared to others that I've used in the area. Lots of bright light, climate controlled units varying in size, and something right for any budget. If I was going to rent a facility for storage, I would definitely choose Spacebox. Aside from the convenience of location, and how well-maintained facility is, they also have wonderfully helpful staff.

We could not trust Kid Gloves to come through after this and were forced to hire another moving company to collect our things and perform the delivery - which was done professionally and timely. Of course this ended up costing us $$$'s more. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are an amateur operation and will deliver more headache than service.

This morning I was on my way out of town and needed to pick up a few things from storage. It has been months since I moved my stuff in and I had consequently forgotten my gate code to gain access to the facility. I was able to get ahold of the owner (Johnny-who is perhaps one of the nicest people I've ever met) at 6:30AM and he opened the gate for me. I can't imagine that this happens at many places. I've used Yelp for over a year and have often thought about signing up and just never had the time. My experience today was completely worth my time to create this account.

First to review?! Hard to believe when this place is synonymous with great customer service. They…read moreknow all their customers on a first name basis and always goes above and beyond every time you go in there. This place is hardcore about their wine. They have weekly wine tastings and the largest indoor wine storage facility in Louisiana. And they have a sommelier on site! Last time I was there, I got a chance to sample some hundred dollar wine. Yep, they just cracked that puppy open and split it with everyone in there. How awesome is that? Plus they're very community-oriented. They have a featured business and an interesting events every month. They just recently advertised for an indoor garage sale where they had over 50 sellers and door prizes! Don't know of any other garage sales where they give out door prizes- and ask for donations for a local blood bank and school. And they're doing stuff like this all the time. Every time I go to a fundraiser in Jefferson Parish, Elmwood Self Storage is involved in some shape or fashion. I've even used their board room for a meeting I conducted. They let me use that space- free of charge- and even helped me advertised for it. These people seriously get around! So check out their facilities and you won't be disappointed. I haven't been!
