We ran into an issue that nobody was aware of and they made sure we were completely satisfied with our rental. Our experience with them was the best I ever had. They resolved any issues that came up with a smile and they were genuinely concerned about us as customers and as people. You just don't get that these days.! I would completely 100% refer this location not only for UHaul rental, but for storage as well. We originally went in to rent a trailer and ended up not only renting a trailer, but also renting storage. These guys will definitely take care of their customers!!

I rented a truck here for a local project, but when I started to load I discovered the truck had no…read moreramp. I was loading a heavy machine and could not do so without a ramp. I had never rented a truck without a ramp before and had neglected to look. Apparently the smaller Uhaul trucks don't have ramps. I drove back to Booth St and the woman was very sympathetic. She didn't charge me for the truck or the dolly, and called alternative dealers until she found one who had a larger truck available. She really took the sting out of a day that started badly. Made a reservation to get a small Uhaul, we get there and the man who claims to be the owner was…read morehaving problems running our cards. Once everything was figured out we(my boyfriend and I) went to inspect the Uhaul and take pictures of it. They had it parked SUPER close to the building so we pulled it forward to inspect the other side. When we started the truck it dumped a good 15 gallons a water straight out of the bottom of engine. We immediately turned it off and went inside to inform them that the truck they just rented us was broke. We went out there with the owner as he's nspecting the engine a woman from his other lot next door comes over and AUTOMATICALLY starts treating us like crap, when the truck had only be moved not even 10 feet from where the had it. We had asked for the pick up that they had, and there was an issue because we had already rented the other truck. The older lady had come into the office and started working on a complete refund, whilst making comments under her breath. She then said "I've refunded your money, now slide your card again." After checking our account to make sure we weren't getting scammed, the money WAS NOT in our account. We brought this to her attention and her response was "It wasn't even really a refund, we were just holding your money." Okay, but that's not what she originally said. So, we told her and the owner we'd have to go put more money on our card, because they've taken our money and it hasn't been put back on yet. The owner proceeds to run his own card, and tells us it's comped. They gave us the BROKEN TRUCK. Being the people we are we went and got cash to give to him upon the return of the truck. We get there to return the truck, the owner is now on lunch. My boyfriend told the lady that we would like to pay the owner cash directly for his kind deed, she then proceeded to tell and tell us we couldn't pay him cash and that we will be recieving a bill in the mail as well as being banned from Uhaul. Then she locks us out of their office with no paperwork or receipt showing that we ever even rented a Uhaul. So, we patiently waited outside on the curb for the owner to come back and come outside so we could give him the cash for the truck(it was in plain sight in our hands) . The owner finally comes out and starts yelling at us about how we talked to his secretary, or whatever and that we weren't allowed back to that rental location. That's fine, but WE still recieved no paperwork or anything. Completely and totally unprofessional. A complaint was made with corporate and sent into the corporate management office. Hope they rip his license for allowing that kind of behavior that has been brought to his attention I'm sure more than once.

She was probably one of the nicest and most sincere people I've ever spoken with over the phone. So I guess this Yelp is for her! Thank you, Amy for your dedication to your job and customers, even if things didn't work out to be able to locate a trailer. I am waiting to see if one pops up though. The people here go out of their way to see to it that their customers are happy and well taken care…read moreof. Their vehicles are always nice, shiny, clean and run well. The guys and gals here are always cheerful and helpful. They seem to like each other and it shows in their friendliness. You can rent a granny car, a Mustang 5.0, of Humvee, a pick up truck or SUV and larger trucks up to 24 feet long. If they don't have exactly what you need at their location, they'll call Medford Budget to hook you up and have someone drive it to your door! They did it for my boss. I should probably say that my daughter works there and it was she picked up the truck in Medford and drove it to his door.
