Lindsey and the SLL team are amazing. First of all, their work gives you highly custom-looking lighting that no other company in Atlanta can seem to do. I called SEVERAL other lighting companies about installing core-drill lights (lights placed in your driveway pavement), and Southern Landscape is the ONLY company I could find who does it. That alone will separate your house from all the others. Surprisingly, they are also very affordable compared to all the other lighting companies, if not cheaper. For 10 lights, *including 3 core-drilled lights in our driveway*, the total came out to the same amount as the next reputable company, and that co. did not offer core-drilled lights -- that company mostly installed downlights (i.e., lighting in the soffits), which, at this point, just looks ordinary to me. As importantly, both Lindsey and the workers are respectful and patient, unlike other companies (I'm looking at you, NightVision). I was very particular about beam spread, light brightness, color temperature and wanting to emphasize certain features of the house while deemphasizing others. We have used Southern Landscape Lighting exclusively for our new custom home built in 2012. Our requirements were LED spots and accent lights around most of the home, and the light quality had to be "halogen-like" but with LED energy efficiency. Fixtures had to be oil-rubbed bronze and durable. Let me just say every component of the system is fantastic and has lasted these ten years and is still looking just like new! We had one bulb go bad on an accent light above the garage, pretty sure it got knocked by some contractors doing another job, and Southern came right out and fixed it up with no troubles. Several years later we decided to add four more lights to some trees and they expanded the system without any trouble. After researching a few lighting companies, I came across Southern Landscape Lighting via Yelp. I was impressed right from the get go as I received a response from Lindsey over a weekend. Fast forward a couple of days later, I had an in person consultation and a quality design and estimate in hand. They were able to add lighting in our backyard as well as upgrade our previous front lighting with an LED system which is much more efficient. I was worried about the LED lights being too bright but they ended up being perfect. The crew showed up and worked hard for two days and ran a professional and clean work site. The design was not to my taste they lit up areas not needing it and then were minimal in areas they needed to be lit. It looks very cheap and when I asked to have it redone the sales person was extremely rude and unprofessional and said if I didn't like it she would have her team rip it up and refund me. The original setup was done in 2003, with the older, outdated light fixtures with bulbs that blow annually...you could almost set a clock by it.
