Learn from my mistake and stay away from the Ganahl Lumber in Costa Mesa on Bristol Street. What…read moremost people don't realize is that window pricing isn't fixed. Unlike Home Depot or Lowe's, where everyone pays the posted price, here the salesperson sets your price himself -- and can quietly build an enormous commission into it. If you don't know enough to get competing quotes, you'll never know you overpaid. I found out the hard way. I spent $26,285.83 on only 10 Andersen 400 Series windows at this store (April 2026, PO #M26955, salesperson Randy B.), and the order was mishandled at nearly every step. First, pricing. Overall, I was overcharged by 30% compared to Dixie Line for the identical windows. My office window is just one example: it was $3,665.13 before tax at Ganahl (81 7/8" x 54 3/4"), while Dixie Line quoted the identical window at $2,626 -- over $1,000 more on a single unit. Second, when I sat down with Randy and gave him my measurements, he entered them incorrectly. We caught it before the order was finalized, which avoided a loss of tens of thousands of dollars -- but it never should have happened. Third, I specifically requested nail fins on all the windows. Half were delivered with nail fins and half without. Fourth, my contract explicitly lists black hardware -- and no hardware was delivered at all. I was then quoted another $197.29 for the finger pulls that should have come with the order. Only after I put everything in writing to Randy, the store manager, and corporate did Ganahl finally agree to provide the finger pulls at no additional charge. I should never have had to fight for something the contract already included, much less be put in the position of having to take them to court to enforce it. Randy apparently never bothered to open the attachment or read the contract in his own file before trying to charge me for hardware that was already part of my order. The pricing discrepancy, the nail-fin mix-up, and the measurement errors remain unaddressed, and neither the store manager nor corporate has replied. Avoid Ganahl Lumber's window sales department at all costs. Based on my experience, they will take advantage of you.

What truly sets this business apart, aside from their breathtaking floral arrangements, is the incredible personal touch and community care provided by the owner. I've had the absolute pleasure of having several wonderful, deeply engaging conversations with the owner over the course of my visits and orders. It is rare to find a business owner who takes such a genuine interest in their customers, listening attentively to what you are looking for, sharing stories, and pouring true passion and artistry into every single detail. That warmth and dedication shine through in everything they do. As for the flowers themselves? Simply stunning. Every arrangement I've received has been remarkably vibrant, impeccably designed, and astonishingly fresh. You can immediately tell that a tremendous amount of care goes into sourcing and selecting each stem, because the bouquets maintain their lively colors and gorgeous fragrance for weeks on end. Whether it's for a special milestone, a thoughtful surprise, or just to brighten up a room, the quality never wavers. If you are looking for stunning, long-lasting flowers backed by a level of customer service and personal warmth that is increasingly hard to find these days, this is the absolute best place to go. I will certainly be a loyal customer for life. Thank you for always going above and beyond!

They utilize all three floors, and this year the 2nd and 3rd floors had lines of flower and plant vendors, and the 1st floor mainly had showrooms with flower decors and some vendors. My sister and mom usually go every year, but this was my first time here, and I really enjoyed it. This was a 4-day event from Thursday to Sunday, and I went on Friday with kiddo, and Saturday with my mom and sister. There were a variety of flowers and plants, and a lot of orchids. Definitely better to check out all the vendors if possible, as some are cheaper than others. Also, they sell out quickly, so better to go on 1st day if possible. I saw a huge difference from being there on a Friday versus Saturday. A lot of the good ones were already gone on Saturday. For instance, there was an iris vendor and they sold out of all of their flowers by the time we stopped by on Friday! They had to go back to their nursery to get more for the weekend (but everything was gone again when I went back on Saturday). It really is hard not to buy so many because everything was beautiful and colorful and just lovely to look at. I did find a rare looking orchid called Gomeza Jiaho Queen. There were only buds, but they had a picture of what it was supposed to look like once bloomed. It was like $32 or $34. It took about a month after I bought it for it to start blooming, but the flowers did look like the picture and I loved it and still love it after all the blooms fell off. Looking forward to the next bloom.
