I've been a customer of Harvest to Home for over 5 years now and I am sad to report the company's service has deteriorated over the years. I hired them to plant and create my original green wall that is a feature piece in my backyard back in 2015. I also retained them on a monthly basis for the past 5+ years to maintain the wall and keep up its aesthetics. While the wall started great 5 years ago, the upkeep that Harvest to Home is deplorable. Additionally, their team is terrible about following up on action items for the needs an upkeep of the wall. As a consequence, my wall's aesthetics has largely lost it's original design intent, with gaps present for months, overgrowing in certain areas and little attempt to maintain the aesthetic quality of the wall. I even retained Harvest to Home to replant the wall once already about two years ago and would be replanting again now if I hadn't fired them. For those looking to hire Harvest to Home to upkeep their greenwall, you are better off not paying them a monthly fee to do so as the upkeep is non-existent. Hire someone else to do real upkeep. Or save the monthly upkeep fee and use those funds to replant as needed every year. After 5 years of downward spiraling service, I'm happy to part ways. I should have done it sooner. read more

If you want to start your own garden but don't have any experience or don't know where to start, I would recommend using Harvest to Home. They can design your garden and maintain it for you. Depending on your budget, you can choose a weekly or monthly maintenance plan. If it's within your budget, a weekly maintenance plan is recommended especially during the summer. Otherwise, you'll have to maintain it yourself which can be a lot of work. Seasonal overhauls are extra. The plants are from local nurseries and they're not organic. I wish they were. Armstrong has a good selection of organic plants if that's what you prefer. Kirk is a great resource! He's a wealth of information. I've learned a lot from him. read more

For Christmas, my 7 year old son asked for a variety of seeds on his wish list so that he could start a garden.
