Our initial in-home consultation was thorough and informative. Installation was fast and expertly handled. Planting our vegetable choices was very exciting. I really appreciated how they listened to me about aesthetic values. They planted little edible flowers in the front of the beds so that I have flowers as well. Beyond satisfied and just over the moon with each person that came to our home and provided such caring service. I've already got strawberries, lettuce, spinach, just yum. Cost wise, it was exactly what we anticipated and well worth it. Thanks all of you! read more

Harvest to Home - Our little garden! - Gardeners Near Me - Irvine, California

Harvest to Home has set me up with a terrific garden box and lemon tree. Every day I see something new happening in the garden. Kirk is helping me take care of it, and teaching me as we go. If you're like me and don't have a gardening background, this company will give you all the support you need. They helped me find the best location for the vegetables and trees, hooked up irrigation, and are helping me take care of the plants. I have a kumquat tree on the way and am thinking about what to add next. Best of all, everyone I have worked with has been positive, knowledgeable, and caring. Great experience! read more

I've been a customer of Harvest to Home for over 5 years now and I am sad to report the company's service has deteriorated over the years. I hired them to plant and create my original green wall that is a feature piece in my backyard back in 2015. I also retained them on a monthly basis for the past 5+ years to maintain the wall and keep up its aesthetics. While the wall started great 5 years ago, the upkeep that Harvest to Home is deplorable. Additionally, their team is terrible about following up on action items for the needs an upkeep of the wall. As a consequence, my wall's aesthetics has largely lost it's original design intent, with gaps present for months, overgrowing in certain areas and little attempt to maintain the aesthetic quality of the wall. I even retained Harvest to Home to replant the wall once already about two years ago and would be replanting again now if I hadn't fired them. For those looking to hire Harvest to Home to upkeep their greenwall, you are better off not paying them a monthly fee to do so as the upkeep is non-existent. Hire someone else to do real upkeep. Or save the monthly upkeep fee and use those funds to replant as needed every year. After 5 years of downward spiraling service, I'm happy to part ways. I should have done it sooner. read more

Well I will let my little salad garden speak for itself! See my photo. The plant bed is raised as to ward off any critters. I have been harvesting my own salad for months now. Harvest to Home - Growing my own salad! - Gardeners Near Me - Irvine, California

From the first time I laid eyes on a community garden, I knew I was destined to create my signature healthy vegetarian recipes using ingredients I had personally grown with love and care. Unfortunately, my laziness and complete inability to keep any plants alive (I have killed both bamboo and cactus) proved to be insurmountable challenges. Thanks to Harvest to Home the dreams of my inner hippie are now fully realized! All I had to do was fork over a credit card and answer the door. Voila! Instantaneously my backyard was turned into my own personal organic pseudo-farm. Baby vegetables were delivered to me in a raised garden bed which incidentally provides complimentary landscaping (and is perfectly designed to avoid any potential contamination by the excrement of my two lovely dogs). They hooked up a SELF-WATERING system (read: impossible to screw up) and provided essential oil spray to ward off any potential pests. Mike and his team are knowledgeable, professional, and effective at ameliorating any gardening-related anxiety you might possess. I feel totally confident in my ability to keep my self-watering, pre-planted garden alive and thriving. If you have had life-long dreams of growing your own seasonal herbs, kale, onions, terraced peas, tomatoes, and a variety of other organic produce, contact H2H ASAP. You'll thank yourself for the self-esteem boost and feel totally smug as you serve dinner to your friends and family while bragging that your delicious kale salad came fresh from your backyard garden. read more

I've been driving past this place for a little of a year to&from work. Today I finally had a chance to stop in and check out their showroom. My boyfriend and I, have been talking about growing seasonal veggies. But, neither of us has a green thumb!! I was first approached by caity, who was very knowledgeable and helpful!! She even showed me their beautiful garden out back which was full of seasonal veggies growing and she even gave me a few tomatoes to take home. Caity provided me with a lot of great information that I will be showing my boyfriend for us to schedule a consultation for our first home garden! Great idea anyone interested in growing a garden! read more

We have been using Harvest to Home for about 2 years, now. Kirk has been an absolute blessing to our garden. Our garden is in a challenging spot, not getting a lot of sun, Santa Ana winds are prevalent and we have battled pests/bugs in the last. Since Kirk has come to the rescue, our little garden has absolutely thrived! He has so many ideas to get plants to grow to their full potential and truly loves what he does. His passion for gardening and willingness to share his knowledge, is an immeasurable asset to Harvest to Home. The quality of vegetables we have yielded this year has been high - everything is delicious. Not to mention, the garden looks beautiful, always. It is a wonderful topic of conversation for our 1.5 year old. And she get to taste/touch all of the plants growing and learn about them as she grows. Highly recommended. read more

If you want to start your own garden but don't have any experience or don't know where to start, I would recommend using Harvest to Home. They can design your garden and maintain it for you. Depending on your budget, you can choose a weekly or monthly maintenance plan. If it's within your budget, a weekly maintenance plan is recommended especially during the summer. Otherwise, you'll have to maintain it yourself which can be a lot of work. Seasonal overhauls are extra. The plants are from local nurseries and they're not organic. I wish they were. Armstrong has a good selection of organic plants if that's what you prefer. Kirk is a great resource! He's a wealth of information. I've learned a lot from him. read more

My mom recently moved to CA and asked me to come help her move into her new home. I was recommended to Harvest to Home and I was surprised at how quick they were able to come out and look at her property. Caity was so efficient and really sweet. She planned one of the best gardens we have ever seen and the best thing is they help maintain the garden as well. I'm really bummed. I bought a Living Social deal and I really wanted to try out their service. Unfortunately, my deal expired while I was on vacation. It was a lot more than I expected. Guess I'll have to try gardening myself. read more

We had our organic vegetable garden put in about a year ago. Mike has been great to work with, his customer service is amazing. We have already had a few seasons of vegetables, some things grew amazing...some didn't grow so well, although some things are out of HTHs control. They always give us great advice and service. We also take part in their monthly maintenance service, we've had a few different people come out and they are all knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend Harvest to Home! read more

My husband I just attended a class hosted by Rob. We found it to be very interesting and informative. Rob gave us information on how to grow various plants from Passion Fruit to potatoes. We are taking home the knowledge necessary to grow herbs and different kinds of lettuce. He showed us techniques in spacing the various plants in planters and what plants compliment growth and vitality to each other while in the same planter. This class happens once a month here and we strongly recommend anyone to take it. Regardless of gardening knowledge and experience. read more

For Christmas, my 7 year old son asked for a variety of seeds on his wish list so that he could start a garden. My husband and I decided to take his interest and incorporate it into the backyard of our new house. We were fortunate to have been referred by a friend to Harvest to Home and they made it all a reality by installing a custom 4x16 raised planter in the yard along with a wine barrel for some berries. Kirk spent time with me after the installation to go over items for me to be aware of in maintaining our garden. Being a novice gardener I decided to utilize their maintenance plan that they offer to make sure our garden was a success. The crew that has been to our house works with me each visit to teach me how to properly maintain the garden in between their visits. My son has enjoyed picking the berries as they ripen but his excitement at harvesting some romaine lettuce recently makes me incredibly grateful for this process of growing some of our own food. He is out with me daily watching the development of the cucumbers, tomatoes, beets, beans, peppers and more. Thank you Harvest to Home. read more
