They claim to be a Simplicity vacuum retailer, but they don't even know how to fix a Simplicity cordless vacuum. The lady I spoke with gave me the impression she had no idea what she was doing. Every question I asked went unanswered. Very disappointing experience. read more

I needed to have a new cord put on one vacuum and th filters replaced on another one. The services were provided in just a couple of days and the price was reasonable for what I had done. I definitely recommend and will use them again if I need work done on the vacuum cleaners. read more

If you're looking for a place with the best customer service and competitive pricing, I would highly recommend Southeast Vacuum! I had the unfortunate "oops" of my dog chewing through the cord of our Shark vacuum, and after calling Shark directly they mentioned that the cord on their vacuum wasn't a super easy fix and that the entire motor base had to be replaced, so they sent me a new one and I called Southeast Vacuum to have them do the labor. I called and spoke with a lady and explained to her my situation, she mentioned that if I brought in the motor and the vacuum itself, she could take a look at it and let me know if it was something they could do for me. Once the part arrived, I brought both items into the store and the same lady was there [so friendly!]. She took a look at the part they sent me and turns out, it was SUPER easy to install. As in....I just had to un-clip the current base and clip the new part on...I felt pretty stupid. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and even clipped my new motor in free of charge. She suggested that I hold onto my old motor for parts, if I ever needed them down the road, which I sincerely appreciated her honesty. For the customer service alone, I will absolutely plan to use them in the future if I ever have a REAL issue that needs to be repaired, and they will be the first service center that I recommend to my friends and family. read more

I drug my heavy vacuum in to be serviced and was advised that their drains were backed up and no repairs could be done. When I asked when they expected to be working again, she had no idea. Finally she said they are probably not doing service in the future. Evidently they only sell vacuums now despite their ad to service all brands. I appreciated her honesty. Took my vac to Aerus in Kennesaw and a pleasant young man checked it out, advised the price and assured me he would have my vac in tip top shape shortly. The most recent review for SV was Sep 2022-evidently the situ has changed. At least call to confirm before wasting your time. Just go to Aerus. read more

Great little family owned mom & pop shop. I brought my Dyson in because it lost suction. THE HORROR!!! I did notice that it seemed to have happened shortly after Mattie decided to take the roller cover off to clean the roller brush, but really didn't think anything of it. The folks at SV, diagnosed the problem in less than 60 seconds. The roller cover wasn't perfectly aligned. They unscrewed it, made sure it was lined up properly - and I was good to go! No charge - wouldn't even accept a 5-spot as a tip! I highly recommend. I also recommend not letting your SO get near your appliances or electronics. read more

I was referred here by the now closed Vacuum World. I was a little skeptical and wanted to go someplace close to my house but I was told by the referrer that they can often fix the machines while you wait so I gave SE Vacuum a try. The on off lever on my vacuum had quit working but, magically, when I arrive the SE Vacuum it started working again. The young lady there told me that she often tells customers to take their vacuum for a car ride because it seems to fix quite a few of them. Since mine was working again she sent me on my way at no charge. The next day my vacuum started making a loud noise and smelled like burning rubber. I assumed it was a broken belt and so took it to SE Vacuum again. The young woman took it to the back after confirming that she had a belt in stock for it. The charge was going to be $6.95 for the belt and $19.95 for the labor to install it. I felt that was very reasonable since I have paid $40 for the same elsewhere. 5 minutes later, she came out and informed me that the belt was fine. Something had gotten stuck in the roller. Once she pulled the object out my machine was working fine again. I offered to pay at least something and was told absolutely not. I don't care that I have to drive a bit and fight traffic to get there, whether I need parts or a repair, you can bet I will do business here from now on. read more

Wow! So impressed with this wonderful place. I was treated like an important customer the moment I walked in. I desperately needed service on my Oreck. Had taken it to the authorized dealer in East Cobb...where it sat for 1.5 weeks. Frustrated, I retrieved my vacuum and I found SouthEast was not too far and the reviews made me feel that it was worth a try. Reviews were spot on. My machine was working within 15 mins! In these days of Customer No-Service, it's so refreshing to find a shop where they excel in service, attitude, and knowledge. Southeast Vacuum is such a place. It's a real pleasure to do business with them. When my heavy-duty, 22 year-old Electrolux Epic 8000 canister power head stopped working, I looked for a replacement only to find that everything reasonably priced is cheaply made of plastic and prone to breakage. As a last resort (and I don't know why it wasn't my first resort?), I took it into Southeastern Vacuum fully expecting to hear bad news. Instead, Lexi cheerfully told me it was a simple repair. She was so kind, so positive about the repair and so unlike-anyone-else that she literally made the rest of my day. (It was getting an unexpected tax refund.) Not only was my vacuum expertly repaired - and at a very, very reasonable price - but I also enjoyed all of my interactions with Lexi and the shop. Found this place on YELP after trying to get my vacuum to work for over 6 months. Took it inside and it was fixed within 10 minutes! The employee that helped me, explained in detail what was wrong. Over lunch, I took the Dyson into Southeast Vacuum over a malfunction to have it repaired. The guy working the counter asked if I "had a minute" which I did. He took the overpriced monster of sucking technology into the back and went at it. I perused the fine selection of vacuum technology merchandise. Best vacuum repair!!!!! I took in two vacuum cleaners and they were repaired while a waited - no more than ten minutes and they were expertly repaired for a very small fee. FREE DIAGNOSTICS!!!! My closest vacuum repair company in Buckhead charges so much for diagnostics, it's almost cheaper to buy a new one than to take a chance that it cannot be fixed. Save the environment and your pocket book - use Southeast Vacuum. read more

I went to this store as a result of the two previous 5-star reviews. I was not as pleased. The woman determined there was a blockage in the hose of the attached wand. She went in the back to get it out. She was unable to tell me what it was because she vacuumed it right into her vacuum. Based on the fact that my new husband already tried to vacuum a sock, it could have been something of value. She didn't tell me when she went to unblock the hose that she was not going to investigate what it was. Then she charged me $20 to do that. So I will not be going back. Terrible service and very expensive. Added equip without telling me the price, was very shocked 5 days later when the price doubled from what I expected. Will take to Sears next time much cheaper with better service. This place was closer but the drive to Sears repair would have been better. read more
